61 CHÚA đã đặt thần linh Ngài trong ta, vì Ngài đã chỉ định ta rao tin mừng cho kẻ nghèo. Ngài sai ta đi an ủi những kẻ có tâm hồn tan vỡ, để loan tin giải phóng cho những kẻ bị cầm tù, để báo cho họ biết rằng họ đã được tự do. 2 Ngài sai ta loan báo thời kỳ CHÚA sẽ tỏ lòng nhân từ Ngài lúc Ngài sẽ trừng phạt kẻ ác. Ngài sai ta đến an ủi kẻ buồn rầu 3 và giúp người sầu thảm trong Giê-ru-sa-lem. Ta sẽ đội mão triều cho họ thay vì tro, và xức dầu vui mừng thay vì sầu thảm, và mặc cho họ sự ca ngợi thay vì lòng buồn bực. Rồi họ sẽ được gọi là Cây Nhân Từ, cây được CHÚA trồng để tỏ sự cao cả Ngài.
4 Họ sẽ xây lại nơi đổ nát và phục hồi lại những nơi bị tiêu hủy xưa kia. Họ sẽ tái thiết những thành bị điêu tàn những nơi bị tiêu hủy quá lâu.
5 Hỡi dân ta, các kẻ thù ngươi sẽ chăn chiên cho ngươi. Con cái chúng sẽ chăm sóc đồng ruộng và vườn nho ngươi. 6 Ngươi sẽ được gọi là thầy tế lễ của CHÚA; là đầy tớ của Thượng Đế chúng ta. Ngươi sẽ hưởng giàu sang từ các dân trên đất, và ngươi sẽ kiêu hãnh vì các của cải giàu sang đó.
7 Thay vì xấu hổ, dân ta sẽ nhận được của cải gấp hai. Thay vì hổ nhục, họ sẽ vui mừng vì nhận được của cải đó. Họ sẽ nhận được gấp đôi phần đất để niềm vui họ kéo dài mãi mãi. 8 “Ta, CHÚA, yêu công lý. Ta ghét trộm cắp và mọi điều sai quấy. Ta sẽ rất công bình và ban cho dân ta điều thuộc về họ, và sẽ lập giao ước với họ, giao ước đời đời. 9 Các dân sẽ biết con cái của dân ta, con cái của họ sẽ được các dân biết đến. Ai nhìn thấy chúng cũng sẽ biết rằng chúng là dân được CHÚA ban phước.”
Tôi tớ của Thượng Đế mang sự Cứu Rỗi đến
10 CHÚA khiến ta vui mừng;
và linh hồn ta hớn hở trong Thượng Đế ta.
Ngài đã mặc cho ta quần áo cứu rỗi và áo dài công chính,
như chàng rể ăn mặc cho lễ cưới mình,
như nàng dâu trang sức bằng châu báu.
11 Đất khiến cây cối mọc lên,
vườn khiến hột nẩy mầm.
Cũng vậy CHÚA là Thượng Đế
sẽ khiến sự công chính và sự ca ngợi đến từ các dân.

Ngài sai Ta đi băng bó những tấm lòng tan vỡ,
Công bố tự do cho những kẻ bị tù đầy,
Loan tin phóng thích cho những người bị xiềng xích;
2 Công bố năm thi ân của CHÚA
Và ngày báo trả của Đức Chúa Trời chúng ta;
Ngài sai Ta đi an ủi mọi kẻ than khóc;
3 Đặng ban cho những kẻ than khóc ở Si-ôn
Mão hoa
Thay vì tro bụi,
Dầu vui vẻ
Thay vì than khóc,
Áo choàng ca ngợi
Thay vì tinh thần sầu thảm;
Họ sẽ được gọi là cây sồi công chính,
Cây CHÚA đã trồng
Để bày tỏ vinh hiển Ngài.
4 Họ sẽ xây lại những nơi đổ nát xưa,
Dựng lại những chỗ hoang phế cũ,
Tu bổ các thành đổ nát,
Những nơi hoang phế từ bao thế hệ.
5 Kiều dân sẽ đứng chăn cừu cho các ngươi,
Người ngoại quốc sẽ cầy ruộng và làm vườn nho các ngươi.
6 Còn các ngươi sẽ được gọi là thầy tế lễ của CHÚA;
Người ta sẽ xưng các ngươi là người phụng sự Đức Chúa Trời chúng ta.
Các ngươi sẽ hưởng của cải của các dân
Và hãnh diện[a] trong vinh hoa của họ.
7 Thay vì hổ thẹn,
Dân Ta sẽ hưởng gấp đôi,[b]
Thay vì nhục nhã
Họ sẽ vui mừng vì phần điền sản của mình;
Cho nên họ sẽ sở hữu gấp đôi phần điền sản trong xứ
Và được vui mừng đời đời.
8 Vì Ta là CHÚA; Ta yêu công bình,
Ghét trộm cướp trong tế lễ thiêu,[c]
Nhưng theo lòng thành tín của Ta, Ta sẽ thưởng công cho chúng
Và lập giao ước đời đời với chúng.
9 Dòng dõi họ sẽ được nổi tiếng trong các nước,
Con cháu họ sẽ nổi danh giữa các dân.
Tất cả những ai thấy họ đều công nhận
Rằng họ là dòng dõi được CHÚA ban phước.
10 Trong CHÚA, ta sẽ rất vui mừng,
Linh hồn ta sẽ hân hoan nơi Đức Chúa Trời ta;
Vì Ngài mặc cho ta áo cứu rỗi;
Khoác cho ta áo choàng công chính
Giống chàng rể khăn áo[d] như thầy tế lễ,

11 Vì như đất đai làm chồi mọc lên,
Vườn tược làm hạt giống nẩy mầm thể nào
Thì CHÚA sẽ làm cho sự công chính
Và lời ca ngợi trổi lên trước mặt muôn dân thể ấy.

The Year of the Lord’s Favor
61 The Spirit(A) of the Sovereign Lord(B) is on me,
because the Lord has anointed(C) me
to proclaim good news(D) to the poor.(E)
He has sent me to bind up(F) the brokenhearted,
to proclaim freedom(G) for the captives(H)
and release from darkness for the prisoners,[a]
2 to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor(I)
and the day of vengeance(J) of our God,
to comfort(K) all who mourn,(L)
3 and provide for those who grieve in Zion—
to bestow on them a crown(M) of beauty
instead of ashes,(N)
the oil(O) of joy
instead of mourning,(P)
and a garment of praise
instead of a spirit of despair.
They will be called oaks of righteousness,
a planting(Q) of the Lord
for the display of his splendor.(R)
4 They will rebuild the ancient ruins(S)
and restore the places long devastated;
they will renew the ruined cities
that have been devastated for generations.
5 Strangers(T) will shepherd your flocks;
foreigners will work your fields and vineyards.
6 And you will be called priests(U) of the Lord,
you will be named ministers of our God.
You will feed on the wealth(V) of nations,
and in their riches you will boast.
7 Instead of your shame(W)
you will receive a double(X) portion,
and instead of disgrace
you will rejoice in your inheritance.
And so you will inherit(Y) a double portion in your land,
and everlasting joy(Z) will be yours.
8 “For I, the Lord, love justice;(AA)
I hate robbery and wrongdoing.
In my faithfulness I will reward my people
and make an everlasting covenant(AB) with them.
9 Their descendants(AC) will be known among the nations
and their offspring among the peoples.
All who see them will acknowledge
that they are a people the Lord has blessed.”(AD)
10 I delight greatly in the Lord;
my soul rejoices(AE) in my God.
For he has clothed me with garments of salvation
and arrayed me in a robe of his righteousness,(AF)
as a bridegroom adorns his head(AG) like a priest,
and as a bride(AH) adorns herself with her jewels.
11 For as the soil makes the sprout come up
and a garden(AI) causes seeds to grow,
so the Sovereign Lord will make righteousness(AJ)
and praise spring up before all nations.

61 The Spirit of the Lord Yahweh is upon me,
because Yahweh has anointed me,
he has sent me to bring good news to the oppressed,
to bind up the brokenhearted,[a]
to proclaim[b] release to the captives
and liberation to those who are bound,
2 to proclaim[c] the year of Yahweh’s favor,
and our God’s day of vengeance,
to comfort all those in mourning,
3 to give[d] for those in mourning in Zion,
to give them a head wrap instead of ashes,
the oil of joy instead of mourning,
a garment of praise instead of a faint spirit.
And they will be called[e] oaks of righteousness,
the planting of Yahweh, to show his glory.
4 And they shall build the ancient ruins,
they shall erect the former deserted places.
And they shall restore the devastated cities,[f]
the deserted places of many generations.[g]
5 And strangers shall stand and feed your flocks,[h]
and foreigners[i] shall be your farmers and vinedressers.
6 But[j] you shall be called the priests of Yahweh,
you will be called[k] servers of our God.
You shall eat the wealth of the nations,
and you shall boast in their riches.
7 Instead of your shame, a double portion,
and instead of insult, they will rejoice over their portion.
Therefore they will take a double portion in their land;
they shall possess everlasting joy.[l]
8 For I, Yahweh, love justice,
hate robbery and[m] injustice,
and I will faithfully[n] give their reward,
and I will make[o] an everlasting covenant with[p] them.
9 And their descendants[q] will be known among the nations,
and their offspring in the midst of the peoples.
All those who see them shall recognize them,
that they are descendants[r] whom Yahweh has blessed.
10 I will rejoice greatly in Yahweh;
my being shall shout in exultation in my God.
For he has clothed me with garments of salvation,
he has covered me with the robe of righteousness,
as a bridegroom adorns himself with a head wrap like a priest,
and as a bride adorns herself with her jewelry.
11 For as the earth produces[s] its sprout,
and as a garden makes its plants sprout,
so the Lord Yahweh will make righteousness sprout,
and praise before all the nations.
