¹² Therefore ^(A)let him who thinks he stands take heed lest he fall. ¹³ No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but ^(B)God is faithful, ^(C)who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to ^[a]bear it.

² For I am ^(A)jealous for you with godly jealousy. For ^(B)I have betrothed you to one husband, ^(C)that I may present you ^(D)as a chaste virgin to Christ. ³ But I fear, lest somehow, as ^(E)the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, so your minds ^(F)may be corrupted from the ^[a]simplicity that is in Christ.

¹⁰ Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, ^(A)“Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, ^(B)who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down. ¹¹ And ^(C)they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, ^(D)and they did not love their lives to the death.
