28 Nakamasid sa bintana ang ina ni Sisera, na hindi mapakali at nagtatanong kung bakit hindi pa dumadating ang kanyang anak.
29 Sumagot ang mga pinakamatalino sa kanyang mga kababaihan, at ito rin ang paulit-ulit niyang sinasabi sa kanyang sarili,
30 “Baka natagalan sila sa pangunguha at paghahati ng mga bagay na nasamsam nila sa kanilang mga kalaban:
isa o dalawang babae para sa bawat sundalo, mamahaling damit para kay Sisera,
at binurdahang damit na napakaganda para sa akin.”

    behind the lattice she cried out,(B)
‘Why is his chariot so long in coming?
    Why is the clatter of his chariots delayed?’
29 The wisest of her ladies answer her;
    indeed, she keeps saying to herself,
30 ‘Are they not finding and dividing the spoils:(C)
    a woman or two for each man,
colorful garments as plunder for Sisera,
    colorful garments embroidered,
highly embroidered garments(D) for my neck—
    all this as plunder?(E)

Why tarries the clatter of his chariots?’
29 Her wisest [a]ladies answered her,
Yes, she [b]answered herself,
30 ‘Are they not finding and dividing the spoil:
To every man a girl or two;
For Sisera, plunder of dyed garments,
Plunder of garments embroidered and dyed,
Two pieces of dyed embroidery for the neck of the looter?’
