Hosea 9:9-10
New American Standard Bible
9 They are (A)deeply depraved
As in the days of (B)Gibeah;
He will (C)remember their guilt,
He will punish their sins.
10 I found Israel like (D)grapes in the wilderness;
I saw your forefathers as the (E)earliest fruit on the fig tree in its first season.
But they came to (F)Baal-peor and devoted themselves to [a](G)shame,
And they became as (H)detestable as that which they loved.

Hosea 9:9-10
Lexham English Bible
9 They deeply corrupted themselves[a]
as in the days of Gibeah;
he will remember their sin,
he will punish their sins.
10 Like the grapes in the wilderness,
I found Israel.
Like early ripened fruit on the fig tree in the first season,[b]
I saw your ancestors.[c]
They themselves came to Baal Peor,
and they consecrated themselves to shame.
And they became detestable things,
like the thing they love.[d]
