Hosea 9:9-10

9 They have dug (A)deep [a]in corruption
As in the days of (B)Gibeah;
He will (C)remember their iniquity;
He will punish their sins.
Grapes in the Wilderness
10 I found Israel like (D)grapes in the wilderness;
I saw your fathers as the (E)earliest fruit on the fig tree in its first season.
But they came to (F)Baal-peor and devoted themselves to [b](G)shame,
And they became as (H)detestable as that which they loved.

10 I regarded Israel like grapes found in the wilderness.
I regarded your forefathers like the first ripe fruit on a fig tree in its first season,
but they went to Baal Peor, and they devoted themselves to a shameful thing,
and they became as disgusting as the thing they loved.
