Hosea 9:7-8

7 The days of (A)punishment have come;
The days of (B)recompense have come;
[a]Let Israel know this!
The prophet is an (C)ignorant fool,
The [b]inspired man has (D)madness,
Because of the abundance of your (E)iniquity
And because your hostility has abounded.
8 Ephraim was a watchman with my God, a prophet;
Yet the snare of a bird catcher is in all his ways,
And there is only hostility in the house of his God.

7 The days of punishment have come;
the days of retribution have come;
Israel knows!
The prophet is a fool,
the man of the spirit is acting like a madman.
Because of the greatness of your sin,
your hostility is great.
8 The prophet keeps watch over Ephraim for my God;
the snare of a fowler is on all his ways,
and hostility in the house of his God.
