Hosea 8:9-10

9 For they have gone up to (A)Assyria
Like (B)a wild donkey all alone;
Ephraim has (C)hired [a]lovers.
10 Even though they hire allies among the nations,
Now I will (D)gather them up;
And they will begin (E)to [b]diminish
Because of the burden of the (F)king of princes.

10 Even though they hire lovers among the nations,
I will now round them up,
and they will begin to decrease in number(C)
under the burden of the king and leaders.(D)
