13 (A)Woe to them, for they have (B)strayed from Me!
Destruction is theirs, for they have rebelled against Me!
I (C)would redeem them, but they have spoken lies against Me.
14 And (D)they do not cry to Me from their heart
When they wail on their beds;
For the sake of grain and new wine they [a](E)assemble themselves,
They (F)turn against Me.
15 Although I trained and strengthened their arms,
Yet they (G)devise evil against Me.
16 They turn, but not [b]upward,
They are like a (H)loose bow;
Their officials will fall by the sword
Because of the [c](I)insolence of their tongue.
This will be their (J)derision in the land of Egypt.

Their leaders will fall by the sword
because of the cursing of their tongue.(I)
They will be ridiculed for this in the land of Egypt.(J)
