Hosea 7:9-11
New American Standard Bible
9 (A)Strangers devour his strength,
Yet he (B)does not know it;
Gray hairs also are sprinkled on him,
Yet he does not know it.
10 Though the (C)pride of Israel testifies against him,
Yet (D)they have not returned to the Lord their God,
Nor have they sought Him, despite all this.
11 So (E)Ephraim has become like a gullible dove, (F)without [a]sense;
They call to (G)Egypt, they go to (H)Assyria.

Names of God Bible
9 Foreigners are using up your strength, but you don’t realize it.
You have become a gray-haired, old man, but you don’t realize it.
10 Israel, your arrogance testifies against you,
but even after all this, you don’t turn to Yahweh your Elohim
or look to him for help.
11 Ephraim, you are like a silly, senseless dove.
You call for Egypt and run to Assyria for help.
