Hosea 6:4-6
American Standard Version
4 O Ephraim, what shall I do unto thee? O Judah, what shall I do unto thee? for your [a]goodness is as a morning cloud, and as the dew that goeth early away. 5 Therefore have I hewed them by the prophets; I have slain them by the words of my mouth: and [b]thy judgments are as the light that goeth forth. 6 For I desire [c]goodness, and not sacrifice; and the knowledge of God more than burnt-offerings.

Hosea 6:4-6
Lexham English Bible
4 What will I do with you, O Ephraim?
What will I do with you, O Judah?
Your love is like a morning cloud,
like the dew that goes away early in the morning.
5 Therefore, I have hewn them by the prophets;
I have killed them by the words of my mouth,
and my judgment[a] goes forth like the light.
6 Because I desire steadfast love and not sacrifice,
and knowledge of God rather than burnt offerings.
