Si Hosea at ang Babaing Mangangalunya
3 Sinabi sa akin ni Yahweh, “Umalis kang muli, at ipakita mo ang iyong pag-ibig sa iyong asawa bagaman siya'y nangangalunya. Sapagkat mahal pa rin ni Yahweh ang Israel kahit na sumamba sila sa ibang mga diyos at laging naghahandog sa mga ito ng tinapay na may pasas.”
2 Kaya't binili ko siya sa halagang labinlimang pirasong pilak at 150 kilong sebada. 3 At sinabi ko sa kanya, “Manatili kang tapat sa akin. Huwag ka nang mangalunya o makipagtalik pa sa ibang lalaki. Ako ay magiging tapat sa iyo.” 4 Sapagkat ang mga taga-Israel ay mamumuhay na walang hari at walang pinuno sa loob ng mahabang panahon. Mawawalan din sila ng mga handog, Ashera, efod, at larawan ng mga diyus-diyosan. 5 Pagkatapos, magbabalik-loob sila kay Yahweh na kanilang Diyos at kay David na kanilang hari. Sa mga huling araw, nanginginig silang lalapit kay Yahweh at malalasap nila ang kanyang kabutihan.

Oseas se reconcilia con su esposa
3 El Señor me dijo: «Ve y vuelve a amar a tu esposa, aunque sea amante de otro y adúltera. Ámala como ama el Señor a los israelitas, aunque se hayan vuelto a otros dioses y se deleiten con las tortas de pasas consagradas que les ofrecen».
2 Compré entonces a esa mujer por quince siclos[a] de plata y un jómer y un létec de cebada;[b] 3 luego le dije: «Vas a vivir conmigo mucho tiempo, pero sin prostituirte. No tendrás relaciones sexuales con ningún otro hombre, y yo me comportaré de la misma manera contigo».
4 Porque los israelitas vivirán mucho tiempo sin rey o príncipe, sin sacrificio o altares, sin efod o ídolos familiares.[c] 5 Después ellos se arrepentirán y buscarán nuevamente al Señor su Dios y a David, su rey. En los últimos días acudirán con temor reverente al Señor y a sus bondades.

Oseas y la mujer adúltera
3 El Señor volvió a decirme:
«Ve y ama a una mujer
amada de su amigo y adúltera.
Así ama el Señor a los israelitas,
aunque ellos se vuelven a dioses extraños
y comen de las tortas de pasas que les ofrecen.»
2 Entonces adquirí una mujer para mí
por quince monedas de plata
y trescientos treinta litros de cebada.
3 Le dije: «Por mucho tiempo serás mía;
no te prostituyas ni te entregues a otro hombre,
y yo también te seré fiel.»
4 Pues por mucho tiempo los israelitas
estarán sin rey ni jefe,
sin sacrificio ni piedras sagradas,
sin ropas sacerdotales ni ídolos familiares.
5 Después de esto se volverán los israelitas
y buscarán al Señor su Dios
y a David su rey.
En los últimos tiempos
acudirán con reverencia al Señor
y a los bienes que él concede.

Hosea’s Reconciliation With His Wife
3 The Lord said to me, “Go, show your love to your wife again, though she is loved by another man and is an adulteress.(A) Love her as the Lord loves the Israelites, though they turn to other gods and love the sacred raisin cakes.(B)”
2 So I bought her for fifteen shekels[a] of silver and about a homer and a lethek[b] of barley. 3 Then I told her, “You are to live with me many days; you must not be a prostitute or be intimate with any man, and I will behave the same way toward you.”
4 For the Israelites will live many days without king or prince,(C) without sacrifice(D) or sacred stones,(E) without ephod(F) or household gods.(G) 5 Afterward the Israelites will return and seek(H) the Lord their God and David their king.(I) They will come trembling(J) to the Lord and to his blessings in the last days.(K)
