Israel wird umkehren
3 Der Herr sprach zu mir: »Obwohl deine Frau[a] deine Liebe nicht erwidert hat, sondern ständig die Ehe bricht, sollst du sie wieder bei dir aufnehmen und sie lieb haben. Denn auch ich liebe die Israeliten, obwohl sie anderen Göttern nachlaufen und nur zu gern deren Opfermahlzeiten essen[b].«
2 Da kaufte ich meine Frau für 15 Silberstücke und viereinhalb Zentner Gerste zurück 3 und sagte zu ihr: »Du wirst jetzt bei mir bleiben und dich mit keinem anderen Mann mehr einlassen. Aber ich werde lange Zeit nicht mit dir schlafen.[c]«
4 Genau so wird es Israel ergehen: Lange Zeit werden sie keinen König und keine führenden Männer mehr haben, es wird keine Schlachtopfer und keine heiligen Steinmale geben, auch keine Götterfiguren und Priestergewänder. 5 Und dann wird Israel umkehren und den Herrn, seinen Gott, suchen. Das ganze Volk wird einen Nachkommen von David als König anerkennen. Zitternd werden sie in dieser letzten Zeit zum Herrn zurückkommen und ihre Hoffnung ganz auf seine Güte setzen.

Gottes Erziehungswege mit Israel
3 Und der Herr sprach zu mir: Geh nochmals hin und liebe eine Frau, die von ihrem Freund geliebt wird und im Ehebruch lebt, gleichwie der Herr die Kinder Israels liebt, obwohl sie sich anderen Göttern zuwenden und Traubenkuchen lieben!
2 Da erkaufte ich sie mir um 15 Silberlinge und um ein Homer und ein Letech Gerste.
3 Und ich sprach zu ihr: »Du sollst mir viele Tage so bleiben und nicht huren und keinem anderen Mann angehören; ebenso will auch ich mich dir gegenüber verhalten!«
4 Denn die Kinder Israels werden viele Tage ohne König bleiben und ohne Fürsten, auch ohne Opfer, ohne Bildsäule, ohne Ephod und ohne Teraphim.[a]
5 Danach werden die Kinder Israels umkehren und den Herrn, ihren Gott, und David, ihren König, suchen; und sie werden sich bebend zu dem Herrn und zu seiner Güte flüchten am Ende der Tage.

3 The Lord said to me, “Go, show your love to your wife again, though she is loved by another man and is an adulteress.(A) Love her as the Lord loves the Israelites, though they turn to other gods and love the sacred raisin cakes.(B)”
2 So I bought her for fifteen shekels[a] of silver and about a homer and a lethek[b] of barley. 3 Then I told her, “You are to live with me many days; you must not be a prostitute or be intimate with any man, and I will behave the same way toward you.”
4 For the Israelites will live many days without king or prince,(C) without sacrifice(D) or sacred stones,(E) without ephod(F) or household gods.(G) 5 Afterward the Israelites will return and seek(H) the Lord their God and David their king.(I) They will come trembling(J) to the Lord and to his blessings in the last days.(K)

3 Et l’Eternel me dit : Va encore aimer une femme adultère aimant le mal[a], aime-la comme l’Eternel aime les Israélites, alors que ceux-ci se tournent vers d’autres dieux et se délectent de gâteaux de raisins consacrés[b].
2 Je rachetai donc une femme au prix de quinze pièces d’argent, et quatre cent cinquante kilogrammes d’orge. 3 Et je lui dis : Tu resteras pendant longtemps pour moi, sans te prostituer et sans te donner à aucun homme, et moi, j’agirai de même pour toi.
4 En effet, les Israélites resteront pendant longtemps sans roi et sans chef, sans sacrifice et sans stèle, sans éphod et sans divinités domestiques[c]. 5 Après cela, ils reviendront à l’Eternel leur Dieu et se tourneront vers lui, ainsi que vers David leur roi. Dans la suite des temps, ils viendront tout tremblants à l’Eternel pour bénéficier de sa bonté.

3 Then said the Lord unto me, Go yet, love a woman beloved of her friend, yet an adulteress, according to the love of the Lord toward the children of Israel, who look to other gods, and love flagons of wine.
2 So I bought her to me for fifteen pieces of silver, and for an homer of barley, and an half homer of barley:
3 And I said unto her, Thou shalt abide for me many days; thou shalt not play the harlot, and thou shalt not be for another man: so will I also be for thee.
4 For the children of Israel shall abide many days without a king, and without a prince, and without a sacrifice, and without an image, and without an ephod, and without teraphim:
5 Afterward shall the children of Israel return, and seek the Lord their God, and David their king; and shall fear the Lord and his goodness in the latter days.
