Hosea 2:18-20

18 And in that day I will cut a covenant for them
With the (A)beasts of the field,
The birds of the sky,
And the creeping things of the ground.
And I will (B)break the bow, the sword, and war from the land,
And I will make them (C)lie down in security.
19 And I will (D)betroth you to Me forever;
Indeed, I will betroth you to Me in (E)righteousness and in justice,
In lovingkindness and in compassion,
20 And I will betroth you to Me in faithfulness.
Then you will (F)know Yahweh.

18 In that day I will make a covenant for the Israelites with the wild animals, with the birds of the sky and the things that creep on the ground.
I will break the bow and the sword.
I will abolish war from the land.
I will allow the people to lie down safely.[a]
19 I will pledge you to myself in marriage forever.
I will pledge you to myself in marriage—
with righteousness, justice, mercy, and compassion.
20 In faithfulness I will pledge you to myself in marriage,
and you will know the Lord.
