¹⁶ They turn, but not ^[a]upward,
They are like a ^(A)deceitful bow;
Their princes will fall by the sword
Because of the ^[b](B)insolence of their tongue.
This will be their ^(C)derision in the land of Egypt.

¹³ As for My ^(A)sacrificial gifts,
They ^(B)sacrifice the flesh and eat it,
But the Lord has taken no delight in them.
Now He will ^(C)remember their iniquity,
And ^(D)punish them for their sins;
They will return to ^(E)Egypt.
