Hosea 12:11-13

11 (A)If there is iniquity in Gilead,
they shall surely come to nothing:
(B)in Gilgal they sacrifice bulls;
(C)their altars also are like stone heaps
(D)on the furrows of the field.
12 (E)Jacob fled to the land of Aram;
there Israel (F)served for a wife,
and for a wife he guarded sheep.
13 By (G)a prophet (H)the Lord brought Israel up from Egypt,
and by a prophet he was guarded.

11 Is Gilead wicked?(A)
Its people are worthless!
Do they sacrifice bulls in Gilgal?(B)
Their altars will be like piles of stones
on a plowed field.(C)
12 Jacob fled to the country of Aram[a];(D)
Israel served to get a wife,
and to pay for her he tended sheep.(E)
13 The Lord used a prophet to bring Israel up from Egypt,(F)
by a prophet he cared for him.(G)
