8 Comment pourrais-je ╵t’abandonner, ô Ephraïm ?
Comment pourrais-je te livrer, ╵ô Israël,
te traiter comme Adma,
ou te rendre semblable ╵à Tseboïm ?
Mon cœur est tout bouleversé,
je suis tout ému de pitié[a].
