Du bist mein König
1 Das schönste aller Lieder, von Salomo.

2 Komm und küss mich,
küss mich immer wieder!
Ich genieße deine Liebe
mehr als den besten Wein.
3 Der Duft deiner Salben betört mich.
Dein Name ist wie ein besonderes Parfüm,
darum lieben dich die Mädchen.
4 Nimm mich bei der Hand!
Schnell, lass uns laufen,
bring mich zu dir nach Hause!
Du bist mein König!
Ich freue mich über dich,
du bist mein ganzes Glück.
Deine Liebe ist kostbarer
als der edelste Wein.
Kein Wunder, dass die Mädchen für dich schwärmen!
Schaut nicht auf mich herab!
Sie:
5-6 Schaut nicht auf mich herab,
ihr Mädchen von Jerusalem,
weil meine Haut so dunkel ist,
braun wie die Zelte der Nomaden.
Ich bin dennoch schön,
so wie die wertvollen Zeltdecken Salomos.
Meine Brüder waren streng mit mir,
sie ließen mich ihre Weinberge hüten.
Doch mich selbst zu pflegen, meinen eigenen Weinberg,
dafür hatte ich keine Zeit!
Darum bin ich von der Sonne braun gebrannt.
Wo bist du?

7 Sag mir, mein Geliebter,
wo lässt du deine Schafe weiden,
wo lässt du sie am Mittag lagern?
Lass mich nicht vergebens nach dir suchen,
nicht umherirren bei den Herden anderer Hirten!
Er:
8 Weißt du’s wirklich nicht,
du schönste aller Frauen?
Folg den Spuren meiner Schafe
und weide deine kleinen Ziegen bei den Hirtenzelten!
Dort wirst du mich treffen.
Du bist schön!

9 Wie schön du bist, meine Freundin,
schön wie eine Stute vor dem Prachtwagen des Pharaos!
10 Deine Wangen sind von Ohrringen umrahmt,
deinen Hals schmückt eine Kette.
11 Doch ich will dir noch mehr geben:
Ein Geschmeide aus Gold sollst du haben
und Perlen um den Hals, in Silber gefasst!

12 Wenn mein König mit mir speist,
riecht er den Duft meines Nardenöls[b].
13 Mein Geliebter ruht an meiner Brust
wie ein Säckchen gefüllt mit Myrrhe.
14 Er duftet wie die Blüten des Hennastrauchs,
der in den Weingärten von En-Gedi wächst.

deine Augen glänzen wie das Gefieder der Tauben.

16 Schön bist auch du, mein Liebster –
wie stattlich anzusehen!
Das Gras ist unser Lager,

beside the flocks of your friends?

3 Because of the savour of thy good ointments thy name is as ointment poured forth, therefore do the virgins love thee.
4 Draw me, we will run after thee: the king hath brought me into his chambers: we will be glad and rejoice in thee, we will remember thy love more than wine: the upright love thee.
5 I am black, but comely, O ye daughters of Jerusalem, as the tents of Kedar, as the curtains of Solomon.
6 Look not upon me, because I am black, because the sun hath looked upon me: my mother's children were angry with me; they made me the keeper of the vineyards; but mine own vineyard have I not kept.
7 Tell me, O thou whom my soul loveth, where thou feedest, where thou makest thy flock to rest at noon: for why should I be as one that turneth aside by the flocks of thy companions?
8 If thou know not, O thou fairest among women, go thy way forth by the footsteps of the flock, and feed thy kids beside the shepherds' tents.
