Domsord och löften till Israel
11 Sedan lyfte Anden upp mig och förde mig till östra porten av Herrens hus, den som ligger mot öster. Och se, vid ingången till porten befann sig tjugofem män. Bland dem såg jag Jaasanja, Assurs son, och Pelatja, Benajas son, ledare bland folket. 2 Då sade han till mig: "Du människobarn, det är dessa män som tänker ut ont och ger onda råd här i staden. 3 Det är de som säger: Det är inte tid att bygga hus. Här är grytan och vi är köttet. 4 Profetera därför mot dem, du människobarn, profetera!"
5 Då föll Herrens Ande över mig, och han sade till mig: "Säg: Så säger Herren: Detta är vad ni tänker, ni av Israels hus, det som stiger upp i ert sinne känner jag till. 6 Ni har slagit många här i staden, ni har fyllt gatorna med döda. 7 Därför säger Herren, Herren så: Kropparna av dem som ni har slagit i staden, de är köttet, och staden är grytan. Men er skall jag föra bort därifrån. 8 Ni fruktar för svärdet, och svärdet skall jag låta komma över er, säger Herren, Herren. 9 Jag skall föra er bort härifrån och ge er i främlingars hand, och jag skall hålla dom över er. 10 Ni skall falla för svärdet. Vid Israels gräns skall jag döma er. Och ni skall inse att jag är Herren. 11 Staden skall inte vara en gryta för er, och ni skall inte vara köttet i den. Jag skall döma er vid Israels gräns. 12 Och ni skall inse att jag är Herren och att ni inte har följt mina stadgar och inte gjort efter mina bud utan levt efter lagarna hos de hednafolk som bor runt omkring er."
13 Medan jag profeterade på detta sätt, dog Pelatja, Benajas son. Då föll jag ner på mitt ansikte och ropade med hög röst: "O, Herre, Herre, vill du helt och hållet göra slut på återstoden av Israel?" 14 Då kom Herrens ord till mig: 15 "Du människobarn, det är till dina bröder, ja, dina egna bröder, dina nära släktingar och till hela Israels hus som Jerusalems invånare säger: Håll er borta från Herren. Det är vi som fått landet till egendom. 16 Därför skall du säga: Så säger Herren, Herren: Fastän jag förde dem långt bort bland hednafolken och spred ut dem i främmande länder, blev jag en tid en helgedom för dem i de länder dit de hade kommit. 17 Därför skall du säga: Så säger Herren, Herren: Jag skall samla er från folken och föra er tillbaka från de länder dit ni har blivit kringspridda, och jag skall ge er Israels land.
18 När de har kommit dit, skall de skaffa bort alla avskyvärda avgudar och alla vidrigheter som finns där. 19 Jag skall ge dem ett och samma hjärta, och en ny ande skall jag lägga i deras bröst. Jag skall ta bort stenhjärtat ur deras kropp och ge dem ett hjärta av kött, 20 för att de skall vandra efter mina stadgar och hålla mina bud och följa dem. De skall vara mitt folk, och jag skall vara deras Gud. 21 Men då det gäller dem som vandrar efter sina hjärtans vidrigheter och följer sina vämjeliga avgudar, skall jag låta det de gjort komma över deras huvuden, säger Herren, Herren."
Herrens härlighet lämnar Jerusalem
22 Då lyfte keruberna sina vingar och hjulen följde dem, och härligheten från Israels Gud var över dem. 23 Herrens härlighet höjde sig och lämnade staden och stannade på berget öster om staden. 24 Men Anden lyfte mig upp och i en syn från Guds Ande förde han mig till de bortförda i Kaldeen. Sedan försvann den syn jag hade fått se. 25 Och jag talade till de bortförda alla de ord som Herren hade uppenbarat för mig.

Herren ska återsamla Israel
11 Sedan lyfte anden upp mig och förde mig över till templets östra port, där jag fick se tjugofem av de mest framstående männen i staden och bland dem de två officerarna Jaasanja, Assurs son, och Pelatja, Benajas son.
2 Då sa anden till mig: Du människa, det är de här männen som är skyldiga till alla de dåliga råd som man får i den här staden.
3 De säger till folket: 'Nu är det dags att bygga upp Jerusalem, för vår stad är som en sköld av järn och kommer att skydda oss från allt ont.'
4 Därför ska du, människa, profetera högt och tydligt mot dem.
5 Sedan kom Herrens Ande över mig och sa till mig att säga detta: Herren säger till Israels folk: Är det så ni säger? Ja, jag vet det, för allt som ni tänker känner jag till. Jag vet om varje tanke ni får.
6 Ni har dödat oavbrutet och fyllt gatorna i staden med era offer.
7 Därför säger Herren Gud: Tror ni att den här staden är som en sköld av järn? Nej, det är den inte! Den kommer inte att skydda er. Era slagna kommer att få ligga kvar bakom den skölden, men ni kommer att släpas fram och dödas.
8 Jag kommer att utsätta er för det krig ni har varit så rädda för, säger Herren Gud,
9 och jag kommer att ta er bort från Jerusalem och överlämna åt främlingar att verkställa min dom över er.
10 Ni ska alla bli dödade, och jag ska låta döma er vid Israels gränser, och ni ska förstå att jag är Herren.
11 Nej, den här staden kommer inte att vara någon järnsköld för er, som ni skulle kunna känna er trygga bakom. Jag kommer att jaga er ända bort till Israels gräns,
12 och ni ska förstå att jag är Herren. Ni har inte varit lydiga mot mig utan i stället följt sedvänjorna hos folken runt omkring er.
13 Medan jag profeterade dog plötsligt Pelatja, Benajas son. Då föll jag ner med ansiktet mot marken och ropade: Herre, min Gud, tänker du döda varenda en i Israel?
14 Än en gång kom ett budskap från Herren:
15 Du människa, de som finns kvar i Jerusalem säger om sina landsflyktiga bröder: 'Det är för att de var så syndiga som Herren lät dem bli bortförda. Nu har Herren gett oss deras land!'
16 Men tala om för dem som lever i landsflykt att Herren Gud säger: Även om jag har förskingrat er till alla länder i hela världen, kommer jag ändå att beskydda er under den tid ni är där,
17 och jag kommer att samla er från de länder dit ni blivit spridda och ge er Israels land.
18 När ni kommer tillbaka, ska ni utplåna varje spår av denna avgudadyrkan.
19 Jag ska göra er ens till sinnes och ge er en ny ande. Jag ska ta bort era hjärtan av sten och ge er hjärtan fyllda av kärlek till Gud,
20 så att ni lyder mina lagar och blir mitt folk, och jag alltid kan vara er Gud.
21 Men beträffande dem som nu längtar efter avgudar i Jerusalem, kan jag bara säga att jag ska betala igen dem för deras synder, säger Herren Gud.
22 Sedan bredde keruberna ut sina vingar, och över varelserna och deras hjul vilade Israels Guds härlighet.
23 Och Herrens härlighet lämnade staden och stannade över berget öster om staden.
24 Därefter förde Guds Ande mig tillbaka till Babylon, till de judar som levde i landsflykt där. Så slutade min syn över besöket i Jerusalem.
25 Jag berättade för mina landsflyktiga landsmän allt som Herren hade visat mig.

God’s Sure Judgment on Jerusalem
11 Then the Spirit lifted me up and brought me to the gate of the house of the Lord that faces east. There at the entrance of the gate were twenty-five men, and I saw among them Jaazaniah son of Azzur and Pelatiah(A) son of Benaiah, leaders(B) of the people.(C) 2 The Lord said to me, “Son of man, these are the men who are plotting evil(D) and giving wicked advice in this city.(E) 3 They say, ‘Haven’t our houses been recently rebuilt? This city is a pot,(F) and we are the meat in it.’(G) 4 Therefore prophesy(H) against them; prophesy, son of man.”
5 Then the Spirit of the Lord came on me, and he told me to say: “This is what the Lord says: That is what you are saying, you leaders in Israel, but I know what is going through your mind.(I) 6 You have killed many people in this city and filled its streets with the dead.(J)
7 “Therefore this is what the Sovereign Lord says: The bodies you have thrown there are the meat and this city is the pot,(K) but I will drive you out of it.(L) 8 You fear the sword,(M) and the sword is what I will bring against you, declares the Sovereign Lord.(N) 9 I will drive you out of the city and deliver you into the hands(O) of foreigners and inflict punishment on you.(P) 10 You will fall by the sword, and I will execute judgment on you at the borders of Israel.(Q) Then you will know that I am the Lord. 11 This city will not be a pot(R) for you, nor will you be the meat in it; I will execute judgment on you at the borders of Israel. 12 And you will know that I am the Lord,(S) for you have not followed my decrees(T) or kept my laws but have conformed to the standards of the nations around you.(U)”
13 Now as I was prophesying, Pelatiah(V) son of Benaiah died. Then I fell facedown and cried out in a loud voice, “Alas, Sovereign Lord! Will you completely destroy the remnant of Israel?(W)”
The Promise of Israel’s Return
14 The word of the Lord came to me: 15 “Son of man, the people of Jerusalem have said of your fellow exiles and all the other Israelites, ‘They are far away from the Lord; this land was given to us as our possession.’(X)
16 “Therefore say: ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Although I sent them far away among the nations and scattered them among the countries, yet for a little while I have been a sanctuary(Y) for them in the countries where they have gone.’
17 “Therefore say: ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: I will gather you from the nations and bring you back from the countries where you have been scattered, and I will give you back the land of Israel again.’(Z)
18 “They will return to it and remove all its vile images(AA) and detestable idols.(AB) 19 I will give them an undivided heart(AC) and put a new spirit in them; I will remove from them their heart of stone(AD) and give them a heart of flesh.(AE) 20 Then they will follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws.(AF) They will be my people,(AG) and I will be their God.(AH) 21 But as for those whose hearts are devoted to their vile images and detestable idols,(AI) I will bring down on their own heads what they have done, declares the Sovereign Lord.(AJ)”
22 Then the cherubim, with the wheels beside them, spread their wings, and the glory(AK) of the God of Israel was above them.(AL) 23 The glory(AM) of the Lord went up from within the city and stopped above the mountain(AN) east of it. 24 The Spirit(AO) lifted me up and brought me to the exiles in Babylonia[a] in the vision(AP) given by the Spirit of God.
Then the vision I had seen went up from me, 25 and I told the exiles everything the Lord had shown me.(AQ)

罪惡與懲罰
5 耶和華的靈降在我身上，他對我說：“你要說：‘耶和華這樣說：以色列家啊！你們口裡所說、心中所想的，我都知道。 6 你們在這城裡殺了許多人，使街道滿了死人。 7 因此，主耶和華這樣說：你們棄置在城中的死人就是肉，這城就是鍋；至於你們，卻要從城中被趕出去。 8 你們懼怕刀劍，我就使刀劍臨到你們，這是主耶和華的宣告。 9 我要把你們從城中趕出去，交在外族人的手裡；我要向你們施行審判。 10 你們必倒在刀下，我必審判你們，直到以色列的邊境；你們就知道我是耶和華。 11 這城必不作你們的鍋，你們也必不作其中的肉。我必審判你們直到以色列的邊境； 12 你們就知道我是耶和華。這是因為你們沒有遵行我的律例，也沒有遵守我的典章，卻效法你們周圍列國的習俗去行。’”
以西結的代禱
13 我正在說預言的時候，比拿雅的兒子毘拉提死了。於是我臉伏在地，大聲呼叫，說：“哎，主耶和華啊！難道你要把以色列餘剩的人都盡行毀滅嗎？”
回歸故土的盼望
14 耶和華的話臨到我說： 15 “人子啊！論到你的兄弟、你的親屬、與你一同被擄的人（“與你一同被擄的人”或譯：“你的近親”）和以色列全家，耶路撒冷的居民曾經這樣說：‘他們遠離了耶和華，這地是賜給我們作產業的。’ 16 因此你要說：‘主耶和華這樣說：我雖然把他們遠遠地遷到列國之中，使他們分散在各地，我還要在他們所到的各地暫作他們的聖所。’ 17 因此你要說：‘主耶和華這樣說：我要從萬族中招聚你們，從你們被分散到的各地聚集你們，把以色列地賜給你們。’ 18 他們必回到那裡，也必除掉那裡所有可厭的偶像和所有可憎之物。
更新的應許
19 “我要把一顆心賜給他們，把新的靈放在他們裡面；我要從他們肉體中除掉石心，賜給他們肉心， 20 使他們遵從我的律例，謹守遵行我的典章，這樣，他們就必作我的子民，我必作他們的 神。 21 至於那些心中隨從可厭的偶像和可憎之物的人，我要把他們所行的，報應在他們的頭上。”這是主耶和華的宣告。
耶和華的榮耀離開耶路撒冷
22 以後，基路伯展開翅膀，輪子都在他們旁邊；在他們以上有以色列 神的榮耀。 23 耶和華的榮耀從城中升起，停在城東的那座山上。 24 靈把我提起來，在異象中藉著 神的靈，領我到迦勒底被擄的人那裡去；我看見的異象就離開我上升去了。 25 我就把耶和華指示我的一切事都說給被擄的人聽。

11 Moreover the spirit lifted me up, and brought me unto the east gate of the Lord's house, which looketh eastward: and behold at the door of the gate five and twenty men; among whom I saw Jaazaniah the son of Azur, and Pelatiah the son of Benaiah, princes of the people.
2 Then said he unto me, Son of man, these are the men that devise mischief, and give wicked counsel in this city:
3 Which say, It is not near; let us build houses: this city is the caldron, and we be the flesh.
4 Therefore prophesy against them, prophesy, O son of man.
5 And the Spirit of the Lord fell upon me, and said unto me, Speak; Thus saith the Lord; Thus have ye said, O house of Israel: for I know the things that come into your mind, every one of them.
6 Ye have multiplied your slain in this city, and ye have filled the streets thereof with the slain.
7 Therefore thus saith the Lord God; Your slain whom ye have laid in the midst of it, they are the flesh, and this city is the caldron: but I will bring you forth out of the midst of it.
8 Ye have feared the sword; and I will bring a sword upon you, saith the Lord God.
9 And I will bring you out of the midst thereof, and deliver you into the hands of strangers, and will execute judgments among you.
10 Ye shall fall by the sword; I will judge you in the border of Israel; and ye shall know that I am the Lord.
11 This city shall not be your caldron, neither shall ye be the flesh in the midst thereof; but I will judge you in the border of Israel:
12 And ye shall know that I am the Lord: for ye have not walked in my statutes, neither executed my judgments, but have done after the manners of the heathen that are round about you.
13 And it came to pass, when I prophesied, that Pelatiah the son of Benaiah died. Then fell I down upon my face, and cried with a loud voice, and said, Ah Lord God! wilt thou make a full end of the remnant of Israel?
14 Again the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,
15 Son of man, thy brethren, even thy brethren, the men of thy kindred, and all the house of Israel wholly, are they unto whom the inhabitants of Jerusalem have said, Get you far from the Lord: unto us is this land given in possession.
16 Therefore say, Thus saith the Lord God; Although I have cast them far off among the heathen, and although I have scattered them among the countries, yet will I be to them as a little sanctuary in the countries where they shall come.
17 Therefore say, Thus saith the Lord God; I will even gather you from the people, and assemble you out of the countries where ye have been scattered, and I will give you the land of Israel.
18 And they shall come thither, and they shall take away all the detestable things thereof and all the abominations thereof from thence.
19 And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh:
20 That they may walk in my statutes, and keep mine ordinances, and do them: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God.
21 But as for them whose heart walketh after the heart of their detestable things and their abominations, I will recompense their way upon their own heads, saith the Lord God.
22 Then did the cherubims lift up their wings, and the wheels beside them; and the glory of the God of Israel was over them above.
23 And the glory of the Lord went up from the midst of the city, and stood upon the mountain which is on the east side of the city.
24 Afterwards the spirit took me up, and brought me in a vision by the Spirit of God into Chaldea, to them of the captivity. So the vision that I had seen went up from me.
25 Then I spake unto them of the captivity all the things that the Lord had shewed me.
