27 And just as (A)it is destined for people to die once, and after this (B)comes judgment, 28 so Christ also, having been (C)offered once to (D)bear the sins of many, will appear (E)a second time for (F)salvation (G)without reference to sin, to those who (H)eagerly await Him.

27-28 Everyone has to die once, then face the consequences. Christ’s death was also a one-time event, but it was a sacrifice that took care of sins forever. And so, when he next appears, the outcome for those eager to greet him is, precisely, salvation.
