²² Almost everything is cleansed by blood, according to the Law’s regulations, and there is no forgiveness without blood being shed.

⁹ Because if you confess with your mouth “Jesus is Lord” and in your heart you have faith that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. ¹⁰ Trusting with the heart leads to righteousness, and confessing with the mouth leads to salvation.

¹³ All who call on the Lord’s name will be saved.^[a]

⁸ You are saved by God’s grace because of your faith.^[a] This salvation is God’s gift. It’s not something you possessed. ⁹ It’s not something you did that you can be proud of.

²³ The wages that sin pays are death, but God’s gift is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

²³ All have sinned and fall short of God’s glory,

⁸ But God shows his love for us, because while we were still sinners Christ died for us.

⁶ Jesus answered, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
