¹⁴ how much more will ^(A)the blood of Christ, who through ^[a](B)the eternal Spirit ^(C)offered Himself without blemish to God, ^(D)cleanse your conscience from ^(E)dead works to serve ^(F)the living God?

¹⁵ For this reason ^(G)He is the ^(H)mediator of a ^(I)new covenant, so that, since a death has taken place for the redemption of the violations that were committed under the first covenant, those who have been ^(J)called may ^(K)receive the promise of ^(L)the eternal inheritance.

He then says,

¹⁸ Now where there is forgiveness of these things, an offering for sin is no longer required.

A New and Living Way

¹⁹ Therefore, brothers and sisters, since we ^(C)have confidence to ^(D)enter the holy place by the blood of Jesus, ²⁰ by ^(E)a new and living way which He inaugurated for us through ^(F)the veil, that is, through His flesh, ²¹ and since we have ^(G)a great priest ^(H)over the house of God, ²² let’s ^(I)approach God with a ^[a]sincere heart in ^(J)full assurance of faith, having our hearts ^(K)sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies ^(L)washed with pure water.
