¹⁸ For, on the one hand, there is a setting aside of a former commandment ^(A)because of its weakness and uselessness ¹⁹ (for ^(B)the Law made nothing perfect), and on the other hand there is a bringing in of a better ^(C)hope, through which we ^(D)draw near to God.

One Sacrifice of Christ Is Sufficient

10 For the Law, since it has only ^(A)a shadow of ^(B)the good things to come and not the very ^[a]form of things, ^[b]can ^(C)never, by the same sacrifices which they offer continually year by year, ^(D)make perfect those who draw near.

⁶ And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who ^(A)comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him.
