Jesus the Great High Priest

¹⁴ Since then we have ^(A)a great high priest ^(B)who has passed through the heavens, Jesus, the Son of God, ^(C)let us hold fast our confession.

⁵ For ^(A)there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man^[a] Christ Jesus,

³² He will be great and will be called the Son of ^(A)the Most High. And the Lord God ^(B)will give to him the throne of ^(C)his father David, ³³ and he will reign over the house of Jacob ^(D)forever, and of his kingdom there will be no end.”

²³ that all may honor the Son, just as they ^(A)honor the Father. ^(B)Whoever does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent him. ²⁴ Truly, truly, I say to you, ^(C)whoever hears my word and ^(D)believes him who sent me has eternal life. He ^(E)does not come into judgment, but ^(F)has passed from death to life.
