putting everything in subjection under his feet.”

Now in putting everything in subjection to him, he left nothing outside his control. At present, (A)we do not yet see everything in subjection to him. But we see him (B)who for a little while was made lower than the angels, namely Jesus, (C)crowned with glory and honor (D)because of the suffering of death, so that by the grace of God he might (E)taste death (F)for everyone.

10 For it (G)was fitting that he, (H)for whom and by whom all things exist, in bringing many sons (I)to glory, should make the (J)founder of their salvation (K)perfect through suffering. 11 For (L)he who sanctifies and (M)those who are sanctified (N)all have one source.[a] That is why he is not ashamed to call them (O)brothers,[b] 12 saying,

(P)“I will tell of your name to my brothers;
    in the midst of the (Q)congregation I will sing your praise.”

13 And again,

(R)“I will put my trust in him.”

And again,

(S)“Behold, I and the children (T)God has given me.”

He is Jesus, who is crowned with glory and honor because he suffered death, so that by the grace of[c] God he might experience[d] death for everyone.

10 It was fitting that God, for whom and through whom everything exists, should make the pioneer of their salvation perfect through suffering as part of his plan to glorify many children, 11 because both the one who sanctifies and those who are being sanctified all have the same Father.[e] That is why Jesus[f] is not ashamed to call them brothers 12 when he says, “I will announce your name to my brothers. I will praise you within the congregation.”[g] 13 And again, “I will trust him.”[h] And again, “I am here with the children God has given me.”[i]
