Warning Against Neglecting Salvation
2 For this reason we must pay much closer attention to [a]what we have heard, lest (A)we drift away. 2 For if the word (B)spoken through (C)angels proved [b]unalterable, and (D)every trespass and disobedience received a just [c](E)penalty, 3 (F)how will we escape if we neglect so great a (G)salvation? That salvation, first (H)spoken by the Lord, was (I)confirmed to us by those who heard, 4 God also testifying with them, both by (J)signs and wonders and by (K)various [d]miracles and by [e](L)gifts of the Holy Spirit (M)according to His own will.

Warning Not to Neglect Salvation
2 Because of this, it is all the more necessary that we pay attention to the things we have heard, lest we drift away. 2 For if the word spoken through angels was binding and every transgression and act of disobedience received a just penalty, 3 how will we escape if we[a] neglect so great a salvation which had its beginning when it[b] was spoken through the Lord and was confirmed to us by those who heard, 4 while[c] God was testifying at the same time by signs and wonders and various miracles and distributions of the Holy Spirit according to his will.
