Pay Attention to God’s Word
2 Therefore, we need to pay even more attention to what we have heard, so that we do not drift away. 2 For if the message that was spoken through angels[a] was valid, and every transgression and disobedient act received a just punishment, 3 how will we escape if we ignore such a great salvation? First the message was spoken by the Lord; then it was confirmed to us by those who heard him. 4 God also testified to it with signs and wonders, various miracles and gifts of the Holy Spirit, according to his will.
God Put Everything Under His Control
5 For God did not place the coming world, about which we are speaking, under the control of angels. 6 But there is a place where someone has testified:
What is man that you remember him,
or the Son of Man[b] that you look after him?
7 You made him lower than the angels for a little while.[c]
You crowned him with glory and honor.[d]
8 You put everything in subjection under his feet.[e]
Indeed, in putting everything in subjection to him, God left nothing that is not in subjection to him. At the present time, we do not yet see everything in subjection to him. 9 But we look to Jesus (the one who was made lower than the angels for a little while, so that by God’s grace he might taste death for everyone), now crowned with glory and honor, because he suffered death.
A Merciful and Faithful High Priest
10 Certainly it was fitting for God (the one for whom and through whom everything exists), in leading many sons to glory, to bring the author of their salvation to his goal through sufferings. 11 For he who sanctifies and those who are being sanctified all have one Father. For that reason, he is not ashamed to call them brothers.[f] 12 He says:
I will declare your name to my brothers.
Within the congregation I will sing your praise.[g]
13 And again:
I will trust in him.[h]
And again:
Here I am and the children God has given me.[i]
14 Therefore, since the children share flesh and blood,[j] he also shared the same flesh and blood, so that through death he could destroy the one who had the power of death (that is, the Devil) 15 and free those who were held in slavery all their lives by the fear of death. 16 For surely he was not concerned with helping angels but with helping Abraham’s offspring.[k] 17 For this reason, he had to become like his brothers in every way, in order that he would be a merciful and faithful high priest in the things pertaining to God, so that he could pay[l] for the sins of the people. 18 Indeed, because he suffered when he was tempted, he is able to help those who are being tempted.

Advertencia a prestar atención
2 Por eso es necesario que prestemos más atención a lo que hemos oído, no sea que perdamos el rumbo. 2 Porque, si el mensaje anunciado por los ángeles tuvo validez, y toda transgresión y desobediencia recibió su justo castigo, 3 ¿cómo escaparemos nosotros si descuidamos una salvación tan grande? Esta salvación fue anunciada primeramente por el Señor, y los que la oyeron nos la confirmaron. 4 A la vez, Dios ratificó su testimonio acerca de ella con señales, prodigios, diversos milagros y dones distribuidos por el Espíritu Santo según su voluntad.
Jesús, hecho igual a sus hermanos
5 Dios no puso bajo el dominio de los ángeles el mundo venidero del que estamos hablando. 6 Como alguien ha atestiguado en algún lugar:
«¿Qué es el hombre, para que en él pienses?
¿Qué es el ser humano,[a] para que lo tomes en cuenta?
7 Lo hiciste un poco[b] menor que los ángeles,
y lo coronaste de gloria y de honra;
8 ¡todo lo sometiste a su dominio!»[c]
Si Dios puso bajo él todas las cosas, entonces no hay nada que no le esté sujeto. Ahora bien, es cierto que todavía no vemos que todo le esté sujeto. 9 Sin embargo, vemos a Jesús, que fue hecho un poco inferior a los ángeles, coronado de gloria y honra por haber padecido la muerte. Así, por la gracia de Dios, la muerte que él sufrió resulta en beneficio de todos.
10 En efecto, a fin de llevar a muchos hijos a la gloria, convenía que Dios, para quien y por medio de quien todo existe, perfeccionara mediante el sufrimiento al autor de la salvación de ellos. 11 Tanto el que santifica como los que son santificados tienen un mismo origen, por lo cual Jesús no se avergüenza de llamarlos hermanos, 12 cuando dice:
«Proclamaré tu nombre a mis hermanos;
en medio de la congregación te alabaré».[d]
13 En otra parte dice:
«Yo confiaré en él».[e]
Y añade:
«Aquí me tenéis, con los hijos que Dios me ha dado».[f]
14 Por tanto, ya que ellos son de carne y hueso,[g] él también compartió esa naturaleza humana para anular, mediante la muerte, al que tiene el dominio de la muerte —es decir, al diablo—, 15 y librar a todos los que por temor a la muerte estaban sometidos a esclavitud durante toda la vida. 16 Pues, ciertamente, no vino en auxilio de los ángeles, sino de los descendientes de Abraham. 17 Por eso era preciso que en todo se asemejara a sus hermanos, para ser un sumo sacerdote fiel y misericordioso al servicio de Dios, a fin de expiar[h] los pecados del pueblo. 18 Por haber sufrido él mismo la tentación, puede socorrer a los que son tentados.

忽略伟大的救恩不能逃罪
2 因此，我们必须更加密切注意所听过的道理，免得我们随流失去。 2 那透过天使所传讲的信息既然是确定的，所有干犯和不听从的，都受了应得的报应。 3 如果我们忽略了这么大的救恩，怎么能逃罪呢？这救恩起初是由主亲自宣讲的，后来听见的人给我们证实了。 4 神又照着自己的旨意，用神迹、奇事和各样异能，以及圣灵的恩赐，与他们一同作见证。
耶稣因受死得了荣耀尊贵
5 神并没有把我们所说的“将来的世界”，交给天使管辖； 6 但是有人在圣经上某一处证实说：
“人算甚么，你竟记念他？
世人算甚么，你竟眷顾他？
7 你使他暂时成了比天使卑微（“暂时成了比天使卑微”或译：“比天使稍低微一点”），
却赐给他荣耀尊贵作冠冕，（有些古卷在此有“并立他统管你手所造的一切”一句）
8 使万物都服在他的脚下。”
既然万有都服了他，就没有剩下一样不服他的了。但是现在我们还没有看见万有都服他。 9 不过，我们看见那位暂时成了比天使卑微（“暂时成了比天使卑微”或译：“比天使稍低微一点”）的耶稣，因为受了死的痛苦，就得了荣耀尊贵作冠冕，好叫他因着 神的恩典，为万人尝了死味。
救恩的元首耶稣
10 万有因他而有、藉他而造的那位，为了要带领许多儿子进入荣耀里去，使救他们的元首借着受苦而得到成全，本是合适的。 11 因为那位使人成圣的，和那些得到成圣的，同是出于一个源头；所以他称他们为弟兄也不以为耻。 12 他说：
“我要向我的弟兄宣扬你的名，
我要在聚会中歌颂你。”
13 又说：
“我要信靠他。”
又说：
“看哪，我和 神所赐给我的孩子们。”
14 孩子们既然同有血肉之体，他自己也照样成为血肉之体，为要借着死，消灭那掌握死权的魔鬼， 15 并且要释放那些因为怕死而终身作奴仆的人。 16 其实，他并没有救援天使，只救援亚伯拉罕的后裔。 17 所以，他必须在各方面和他的弟兄们相同，为了要在 神的事上，成为仁慈忠信的大祭司，好为人民赎罪。 18 因为他自己既然经过试探，受了苦，就能够帮助那些被试探的人。
