Hebrews 2:11-13

¹¹For ^(A)he who sanctifies and ^(B)those who are sanctified ^(C)all have one source.^[a] That is why he is not ashamed to call them ^(D)brothers,^[b] ¹²saying,

^(E)“I will tell of your name to my brothers;
in the midst of the ^(F)congregation I will sing your praise.”

¹³And again,

^(G)“I will put my trust in him.”

And again,

^(H)“Behold, I and the children ^(I)God has given me.”

²⁹How much worse punishment, do you think, will be deserved by the one ^(A)who has trampled underfoot the Son of God, and has profaned ^(B)the blood of the covenant ^(C)by which he was sanctified, and has ^(D)outraged the Spirit of grace? ³⁰For we know him who said, ^(E)“Vengeance is mine; I will repay.” And again, ^(F)“The Lord will judge his people.” ³¹^(G)It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.
