Hebrews 1:4-14
English Standard Version
4 having become as much superior to angels as the name (A)he has inherited is more excellent than theirs.
5 For to which of the angels did God ever say,
(B)“You are my Son,
today I have begotten you”?
Or again,
(C)“I will be to him a father,
and he shall be to me a son”?
6 And again, when he brings (D)the firstborn into the world, he says,
(E)“Let all God's angels worship him.”
7 Of the angels he says,
(F)“He makes his angels winds,
and his ministers a flame of fire.”
8 But of the Son he says,
(G)“Your throne, O God, is forever and ever,
the scepter of uprightness is the scepter of your kingdom.
9 You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness;
therefore God, your God, (H)has anointed you
with (I)the oil of gladness beyond your companions.”
10 And,
(J)“You, Lord, laid the foundation of the earth in the beginning,
and the heavens are the work of your hands;
11 they will perish, but you remain;
they will all wear out like a garment,
12 like a robe you will roll them up,
like a garment they will be changed.[a]
But you are (K)the same,
and your years will have no end.”
13 And to which of the angels has he ever said,
14 Are they not all ministering spirits (N)sent out to serve for the sake of those who are to (O)inherit salvation?

Hebrews 1:4-14
Holman Christian Standard Bible
4 So He became higher in rank than the angels, just as the name He inherited is superior to theirs.(A)
The Son Superior to Angels
5 For to which of the angels did He ever say, You are My Son; today I have become Your Father,[a][b] or again, I will be His Father, and He will be My Son?(B)[c] 6 When He again[d] brings His firstborn into the world,(C) He says, And all God’s angels must worship Him.(D)[e] 7 And about the angels He says:
8 but to[i] the Son:
Your throne, God,
is forever and ever,
and the scepter of Your kingdom
is a scepter of justice.(F)
9 You have loved righteousness
and hated lawlessness;
this is why God, Your God,
has anointed You
with the oil of joy(G)
rather than Your companions.[j][k]
10 And:
In the beginning, Lord,
You established the earth,
and the heavens are the works of Your hands;(H)
11 they will perish, but You remain.
They will all wear out like clothing;(I)
12 You will roll them up like a cloak,[l]
and they will be changed like a robe.
But You are the same,
and Your years will never end.(J)[m]
13 Now to which of the angels has He ever said:
14 Are they not all ministering spirits sent out to serve those who are going to inherit salvation?(L)
