14 For here (A)we do not have a lasting city, but we are seeking (B)the city which is to come.

20 No longer will there be [a]in it an infant who lives only a few days,
Or an old person who does (A)not [b]live out his days;
For the youth will die at the age of a hundred,
And the [c](B)one who does not reach the age of a hundred
Will be thought accursed.
21 They will (C)build houses and inhabit them;
They will also (D)plant vineyards and eat their fruit.
22 They will not build and (E)another inhabit,
They will not plant and another eat;
For (F)as the [d]lifetime of a tree, so will be the days of My people,
And My chosen ones will (G)fully enjoy the work of their hands.
23 They will (H)not labor in vain,
Or give birth to children for disaster;
For they are the [e](I)descendants of those blessed by the Lord,
And their descendants with them.

24 It will also come to pass that before they call, I will (J)answer; while they are still speaking, I will listen. 25 The (K)wolf and the lamb will graze together, and the (L)lion will eat straw like the ox; and (M)dust will be the serpent’s food. They will (N)do no evil or harm on all My (O)holy mountain,” says the Lord.

Satan Freed and Doomed

When the thousand years are completed, Satan will be (A)released from his prison, and will come out to (B)deceive the nations which are at the (C)four corners of the earth, (D)Gog and Magog, to (E)gather them together for the war; the number of them is like the (F)sand of the [a]seashore. And they (G)came up on the [b]broad plain of the earth and surrounded the (H)camp of the [c]saints and the (I)beloved city, and (J)fire came down from heaven and devoured them. 10 And (K)the devil who (L)deceived them was thrown into the (M)lake of fire and [d]brimstone, where the (N)beast and the (O)false prophet are also; and they will be (P)tormented day and night forever and ever.

And I saw (A)the holy city, (B)new Jerusalem, (C)coming down out of heaven from God, (D)prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. The River and the Tree of Life

22 And (A)he showed me a (B)river of the (C)water of life, [a]clear (D)as crystal, coming from the throne of God and of [b]the Lamb, in the middle of (E)its street. (F)On either side of the river was (G)the tree of life, bearing twelve [c]kinds of fruit, yielding its fruit every month; and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. (H)There will no longer be any curse; and (I)the throne of God and of the Lamb will be in it, and His bond-servants will (J)serve Him; they will (K)see His face, and His (L)name will be on their (M)foreheads.
