The Father’s Discipline

(A)You have not yet resisted [a](B)to the point of shedding blood in your striving against sin. And you have forgotten the exhortation which is addressed to you as sons,

(C)My son, do not regard lightly the discipline of the [b]Lord,
Nor (D)faint when you are reproved by Him;
(E)For those (F)whom the [c]Lord loves He disciplines,
And He flogs every son whom He receives.”
