⁸ If you are not disciplined—and everyone undergoes discipline^(A)—then you are not legitimate, not true sons and daughters at all.

³² Nevertheless, when we are judged in this way by the Lord, we are being disciplined^(A) so that we will not be finally condemned with the world.^(B)
