¹² Indeed, all who want to live in a godly way in Christ Jesus ^(A)will be persecuted.

⁴⁴ But I say to you, ^(A)love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you,

^22 (A)Blessed are you when the people hate you, and when they ^[a](B)exclude you, and insult you, and scorn your name as evil, on account of the Son of Man.
