Hebrews 1

God’s Supreme Revelation(A)
1 God, who [a]at various times and (B)in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, 2 has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the [b]worlds; 3 (C)who being the brightness of His glory and the express (D)image of His person, and (E)upholding all things by the word of His power, (F)when He had [c]by Himself [d]purged [e]our sins, (G)sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high, 4 having become so much better than the angels, as (H)He has by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.
The Son Exalted Above Angels
5 For to which of the angels did He ever say:
(I)“You are My Son,
Today I have begotten You”?
And again:
(J)“I will be to Him a Father,
And He shall be to Me a Son”?
6 But when He again brings (K)the firstborn into the world, He says:
(L)“Let all the angels of God worship Him.”
7 And of the angels He says:
(M)“Who makes His angels spirits
And His ministers a flame of fire.”
8 But to the Son He says:
(N)“Your throne, O God, is forever and ever;
A [f]scepter of righteousness is the scepter of Your kingdom.
9 You have loved righteousness and hated lawlessness;
Therefore God, Your God, (O)has anointed You
With the oil of gladness more than Your companions.”
10 And:
(P)“You, Lord, in the beginning laid the foundation of the earth,
And the heavens are the work of Your hands.
11 (Q)They will perish, but You remain;
And (R)they will all grow old like a garment;
12 Like a cloak You will fold them up,
And they will be changed.
But You are the (S)same,
And Your years will not fail.”
13 But to which of the angels has He ever said:
(T)“Sit at My right hand,
Till I make Your enemies Your footstool”?
14 (U)Are they not all ministering spirits sent forth to minister for those who will (V)inherit salvation?

1 God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,
2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;
3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high:
4 Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.
5 For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?
6 And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him.
7 And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire.
8 But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.
9 Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.
10 And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands:
11 They shall perish; but thou remainest; and they all shall wax old as doth a garment;
12 And as a vesture shalt thou fold them up, and they shall be changed: but thou art the same, and thy years shall not fail.
13 But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool?
14 Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?

1 Ngày xưa, Đức Chúa Trời đã dùng các tiên tri phán dạy tổ phụ chúng ta nhiều lần, nhiều cách. 2 Đến những ngày cuối cùng này, Đức Chúa Trời lại phán dạy chúng ta bởi Đức Con mà Ngài đã lập lên kế thừa vạn vật; cũng qua Con ấy, Ngài đã sáng tạo vũ trụ. 3 Con là phản ảnh của vinh quang Ngài, là hình ảnh trung thực của bản thể Ngài. Dùng lời quyền năng mình, Ngài duy trì vạn vật. Sau khi hoàn thành cuộc thanh tẩy tội lỗi, Con ngồi bên phải Đấng Tôn Nghiêm trên các tầng trời. 4 Con Ngài cao quý hơn các thiên sứ, như danh của Con thừa hưởng cũng cao hơn danh của các thiên sứ vậy.
5 Vì có bao giờ một thiên sứ nào được Đức Chúa Trời bảo:
“Ngươi là Con Ta,
Ngày nay ta đã sinh ngươi”
hoặc
“Ta sẽ làm Cha người
Và người sẽ làm Con Ta.”
6 Lại nữa, khi đưa Con Trưởng Nam vào trần gian, Đức Chúa Trời phán:
“Tất cả các thiên sứ của Đức Chúa Trời hãy thờ lạy Con!”
7 Nói về thiên sứ, Ngài bảo:
“Ngài sáng tạo các thiên sứ như gió
Và các đầy tớ Ngài như ngọn lửa”
8 Nhưng nói về Con, Ngài phán:
“Hỡi Đức Chúa Trời, Ngôi Ngài tồn tại đời đời,
Vương trượng công chính là vương trượng của vương quốc Ngài.
9 Chúa yêu chuộng công chính và ghét vô đạo.
Nên Đức Chúa Trời là Đức Chúa Trời của Chúa[a] đã xức dầu vui mừng cho Chúa,
Đặt Chúa cao cả hơn các đồng bạn Ngài.”[b]
10 Đức Chúa Trời cũng phán:
“Chúa ơi, ban đầu Chúa xây nền móng cho quả đất,
Các tầng trời là công trình của bàn tay Chúa.
11 Trời đất sẽ tiêu tan nhưng Chúa vẫn vĩnh hằng.
Tất cả đều sẽ cũ mòn như chiếc áo.
12 Chúa sẽ cuốn chúng lại như chiếc áo choàng,
Chúng sẽ thay đổi như y phục
Nhưng Chúa vẫn y nguyên,
Các năm của Chúa không bao giờ cùng.”
13 Có bao giờ Đức Chúa Trời phán bảo một thiên sứ:
“Con hãy ngồi bên phải Ta
Cho đến khi ta bắt các kẻ thù Con
Làm bệ dưới chân Con?”
14 Không phải tất cả các thiên sứ là các thần phục vụ được sai đi hầu việc những người sẽ được thừa hưởng ơn cứu rỗi sao?

划时代的启示
1 在古代，上帝曾借着先知以各种方式多次向我们的祖先说话； 2 在这世界的末期，祂又借着自己的儿子亲自向我们说话。上帝早已立祂承受万物，并借着祂创造了宇宙万物。 3 祂正是上帝荣耀的光辉，是上帝本体的真像。祂用自己充满能力的话语维系万物。祂洗净了世人的罪之后，便坐在天上至高上帝的右边。 4 祂既承受了比天使更高的名分，就远超越天使。
5 上帝从未对任何一个天使说：
“你是我的儿子，我今日成为你父亲。”
或说：
“我要做你的父亲，你要做我的儿子。”
6 上帝差遣祂的长子到世上来时，说：
“上帝的天使都要敬拜祂。”
7 上帝提到天使的时候，也只是说：
“上帝使祂的天使成为风，使祂的仆役成为火焰。”
8 但论到祂的儿子，祂却说：
“上帝啊，你的宝座永远长存，
你以公义的杖执掌王权。
9 你喜爱公义，憎恶邪恶。
所以上帝，你的上帝，
用喜乐之油膏你，使你超过同伴。”
10 此外又说：
“主啊，太初你奠立大地的根基，
亲手创造诸天。
11 天地都要消亡，但你永远长存。
天地都会像衣服渐渐破旧，
12 你要像卷外衣一样把天地卷起来。
天地将如衣服一样被更换，
但你永远不变，
你的年日永无穷尽。”
13 上帝从未对任何一个天使说：
“你坐在我的右边，
等我使你的仇敌成为你的脚凳。”
14 天使岂不都是服役的灵吗？他们奉差遣，岂不是去为那些将要承受救恩的人服务吗？
