13 Nothing in all creation is hidden from God. Everything is naked and exposed before his eyes, and he is the one to whom we are accountable.
Christ Is Our High Priest
14 So then, since we have a great High Priest who has entered heaven, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to what we believe. 15 This High Priest of ours understands our weaknesses, for he faced all of the same testings we do, yet he did not sin. 16 So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.

13 Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight.(A) Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account.
Jesus the Great High Priest
14 Therefore, since we have a great high priest(B) who has ascended into heaven,[a](C) Jesus the Son of God,(D) let us hold firmly to the faith we profess.(E) 15 For we do not have a high priest(F) who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are(G)—yet he did not sin.(H) 16 Let us then approach(I) God’s throne of grace with confidence,(J) so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.
