4 Let’s fear therefore, lest perhaps anyone of you should seem to have come short of a promise of entering into his rest.

4 Therefore, since the promise of entering his rest still stands, let us be careful that none of you be found to have fallen short of it.^(A)

³¹It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

³¹It is a dreadful thing^(A) to fall into the hands^(B) of the living God.^(C)
