8 You subjected all things under his feet” [Ps 8:4-6]. For[a] in the subjecting all things to him, He left nothing not-subject to him. But now we do not yet see all things having been subjected to him. 9 But[b] we see the One having been made lower than angels for a little while— Jesus— having been crowned with glory and honor because-of the suffering of the death, so-that by the grace of God He might taste death for everyone.
For It Was Fitting For God To Perfect The Author of Salvation Through Sufferings
10 For it was fitting[c] for Him[d] for-the-sake-of Whom are all things and through Whom are all things, that in bringing many sons to glory He should perfect[e] the Author[f] of their salvation through sufferings. 11 For both the One making-holy and the ones being made holy are all from one Father[g], for which reason He is not ashamed to be calling them brothers, 12 saying “I will declare Your name to My brothers. I will sing-praise to You in the midst of the congregation” [Ps 22:22]; 13 and again [in Isa 8:17], “I will be trusting[h] in Him”; and again [in Isa 8:18], “Behold— I and the children whom God gave to Me”.

- Hebrews 2:8 The writer draws his point from the psalm. God did not subject the coming world to angels, for He left nothing not subject to man (or, to Jesus).

In putting everything under them,[c] God left nothing that is not subject to them.[d] Yet at present we do not see everything subject to them.[e] 9 But we do see Jesus, who was made lower than the angels for a little while, now crowned with glory and honor(B) because he suffered death,(C) so that by the grace of God he might taste death for everyone.(D)
10 In bringing many sons and daughters to glory, it was fitting that God, for whom and through whom everything exists,(E) should make the pioneer of their salvation perfect through what he suffered.(F) 11 Both the one who makes people holy(G) and those who are made holy(H) are of the same family. So Jesus is not ashamed to call them brothers and sisters.[f](I) 12 He says,
“I will declare your name to my brothers and sisters;
in the assembly I will sing your praises.”[g](J)
