¹⁴ Therefore, since the children share in ^[a](A)flesh and blood, ^(B)He Himself likewise also partook of the same, that ^(C)through death He might render powerless ^(D)him who had the power of death, that is, the devil,

^7 [a]In the days of His flesh, ^[b](A)He offered up both prayers and supplications with ^(B)loud crying and tears to the One ^(C)able to save Him ^[c]from death, and He ^[d]was heard because of His ^(D)piety.
