Hebrews 2:12-14
The Voice
12 saying, in the words of the psalmist,
I will speak Your Name to My brothers and sisters
when I praise You in the midst of the community.[a]
13 And in the words of Isaiah,
I will wait for the Eternal One.[b]
And again,
Look, here I am with the children God has given Me.[c]
14 Since we, the children, are all creatures of flesh and blood, Jesus took on flesh and blood, so that by dying He could destroy the one who held power over death—the devil—

“I will declare your name to my brothers and sisters;
in the assembly I will sing your praises.”[a](A)

And again he says,
14 Since the children have flesh and blood,(D) he too shared in their humanity(E) so that by his death he might break the power(F) of him who holds the power of death—that is, the devil(G)—
