11 The high priest carries the blood of animals into the Most Holy Place as a sin offering,(A) but the bodies are burned outside the camp.(B) 12 And so Jesus also suffered outside the city gate(C) to make the people holy(D) through his own blood.(E) 13 Let us, then, go to him(F) outside the camp, bearing the disgrace he bore.(G) 14 For here we do not have an enduring city,(H) but we are looking for the city that is to come.(I)

15 Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice(J) of praise—the fruit of lips(K) that openly profess his name. 16 And do not forget to do good and to share with others,(L) for with such sacrifices(M) God is pleased.

17 Have confidence in your leaders(N) and submit to their authority, because they keep watch over you(O) as those who must give an account. Do this so that their work will be a joy, not a burden, for that would be of no benefit to you.

18 Pray for us.(P) We are sure that we have a clear conscience(Q) and desire to live honorably in every way. 19 I particularly urge you to pray so that I may be restored to you soon.(R)

Benediction and Final Greetings

20 Now may the God of peace,(S) who through the blood of the eternal covenant(T) brought back from the dead(U) our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep,(V) 21 equip you with everything good for doing his will,(W) and may he work in us(X) what is pleasing to him,(Y) through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.(Z)

11 For the bodies of those beasts, whose blood is brought into the sanctuary by the high priest for sin, are burned without the camp.

12 Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate.

13 Let us go forth therefore unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach.

14 For here have we no continuing city, but we seek one to come.

15 By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.

16 But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.

17 Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you.

18 Pray for us: for we trust we have a good conscience, in all things willing to live honestly.

19 But I beseech you the rather to do this, that I may be restored to you the sooner.

20 Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant,

21 Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
