Hebrews 13:11-14

New Living Translation

¹¹Under the old system, the high priest brought the blood of animals into the Holy Place as a sacrifice for sin, and the bodies of the animals were burned outside the camp. ¹²So also Jesus suffered and died outside the city gates to make his people holy by means of his own blood. ¹³So let us go out to him, outside the camp, and bear the disgrace he bore. ¹⁴For this world is not our permanent home; we are looking forward to a home yet to come.

¹¹For ^(A)the bodies of those animals whose blood is brought into the holy places by the high priest as a sacrifice for sin are burned ^(B)outside the camp. ¹²So Jesus also ^(C)suffered ^(D)outside the gate in order to sanctify the people ^(E)through his own blood. ¹³Therefore let us go to him outside the camp and bear ^(F)the reproach he endured. ¹⁴For ^(G)here we have no lasting city, but we seek the city that is to come.
