Hebrews 11:17-19

17 By faith Abraham has offered Isaac while being tested. And the one having received the promises was offering his only-born[a], 18 with-regard-to whom[b] it was said [in Gen 21:12] that “In Isaac a seed will be called for you”, 19 having considered[c] that God was able to raise him even from the dead, from-which[d] he also received him back in a symbol[e].

New International Version
17 By faith Abraham, when God tested him, offered Isaac as a sacrifice.(A) He who had embraced the promises was about to sacrifice his one and only son, 18 even though God had said to him, “It is through Isaac that your offspring will be reckoned.”[a](B) 19 Abraham reasoned that God could even raise the dead,(C) and so in a manner of speaking he did receive Isaac back from death.
