Hebrews 10:28-31
Complete Jewish Bible
28 Someone who disregards the Torah of Moshe is put to death without mercy on the word of two or three witnesses.[a] 29 Think how much worse will be the punishment deserved by someone who has trampled underfoot the Son of God; who has treated as something common the blood of the covenant[b] which made him holy; and who has insulted the Spirit, giver of God’s grace!
30 For the One we know is the One who said,
“Vengeance is my responsibility;
I will repay,”
and then said,
“Adonai will judge his people.”[c]
31 It is a terrifying thing to fall into the hands of the living God!

28 Anyone who rejected the law of Moses died without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses.(A) 29 How much more severely do you think someone deserves to be punished who has trampled the Son of God(B) underfoot,(C) who has treated as an unholy thing the blood of the covenant(D) that sanctified them,(E) and who has insulted the Spirit(F) of grace?(G) 30 For we know him who said, “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,”[a](H) and again, “The Lord will judge his people.”[b](I) 31 It is a dreadful thing(J) to fall into the hands(K) of the living God.(L)
