Hebrews 1:8-10
Amplified Bible
8 But about the Son [the Father says to Him],
“Your throne, [a]O God, is forever and ever,
And the [b]scepter of [absolute] righteousness is the scepter of [c]His kingdom.
9
“You have loved righteousness [integrity, virtue, uprightness in purpose] and have hated lawlessness [injustice, sin].
Therefore God, Your God, Has anointed You
With the oil of gladness above Your companions.”(A)
10 And,
“[d]You, Lord, laid the foundation of the earth in the beginning,
And the heavens are the works of Your hands;

8 But about the Son he says,

a scepter of justice will be the scepter of your kingdom.
9 You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness;
therefore God, your God, has set you above your companions(B)
by anointing you with the oil(C) of joy.”[a](D)
10 He also says,
“In the beginning, Lord, you laid the foundations of the earth,
and the heavens are the work of your hands.(E)
