13 Dashuria vëllazërore le të mbetet.
2 Mos harroni mikpritjen, sepse disa duke e praktikuar e priten pa ditur engjëj!
3 Kujtoni të burgosurit si të ishit të lidhur bashkë me ta, dhe ata që keqtrajtohen, sepse edhe ju vetë jeni në trup.
4 Martesa të nderohet nga të gjithë dhe shtrati martesor i papërlyer, sepse Perëndia do të gjykojë kurvarët dhe kurorëshkelësit.
5 Sjellja juaj të jetë pa lakmi paraje dhe kënaquni me atë që keni, sepse vetë Perëndia ka thënë: “Nuk do të të lë, nuk do të të braktis.”
6 Kështu mund të themi, me plot besim: “Perëndia është ndihmuesi im dhe unë nuk do të kem frikë; ç’do të më bëjë njeriu?.”
7 Kujtoni të parët tuaj, që ju shpallën fjalën e Perëndisë dhe, duke çmuar rezultatin e sjelljes së tyre, merrni si shembull besimin e tyre.
8 Krishti është i njëjtë dje, sot e përjetë.
9 Mos e lëshoni veten aty e këtu prej doktrinah të ndryshme dhe të huaja, sepse është mirë që zemra juaj të forcohet me anë të hirit dhe jo prej ushqimit, të cilat nuk u dhanë asnjë dobi atyre aq sa ecën.
10 Ne kemi një altar prej të cilit nuk kanë të drejtë të hanë ata që i shërbejnë tabernakullit.
11 Sepse trupat e atyre kafshëve, gjaku i të cilave është sjellë prej kryepriftit në shenjtëroren për mëkatin, digjen jashtë fushës.
12 Prandaj edhe Jezusi, për të shenjtëruar popullin me gjakun e vet, pësoi jashtë derës (së qytetit)
13 Le të dalim, pra, drejt tij jashtë fushës, duke bartur poshtërimin e tij.
14 Sepse nuk kemi këtu qytet të përhershëm, por kërkojmë atë që ka për të ardhur.
15 Me anë të tij, pra, le t’i ofrojmë vazhdimisht Perëndisë një flijim lavdie, domethënë frytin e buzëve që rrëfejnë emrin e tij.
16 Dhe mos harroni bamirësinë dhe t’u jepni ndihmë të tjerëve, sepse Perëndisë i pëlqejnë flijime të tilla.
17 Dëgjoni të parët tuaj dhe nënshtrohuni atyre, sepse ata rrijnë zgjuar për shpirtërat tuaj, si ata që duhet të japin llogari; që ta bëjnë këtë me gëzim dhe jo me psheretima, sepse kjo nuk do t’ju sillte dobi.
18 Lutuni për ne, sepse ne besojmë se kemi ndërgjegje të mirë, duke dashur të sillemi mirë në çdo gjë.
19 Dhe ju bëj thirrje edhe më shumë ta bëni këtë, që unë të kthehem te ju sa më parë.
20 Dhe Perëndia e paqes, që e ngriti nga të vdekurit, me anë të gjakut të Besëlidhjes së amshuar, Bariun e madh të dhënve, Perëndinë tonë Jezu Krisht,
21 ju bëftë të përsosur për çdo vepër të mirë, që të kryeni vullnetin e tij, duke punuar te ju atë që është e pëlqyer përpara tij, me anë të Jezu Krishtit, të cilit i qoftë lavdi në shekuj të shekujve. Amen.
22 Dhe ju lutem, o vëllezër, ta mbani këtë fjalë këshillimi, sepse ju shkrova shkurt.
23 Ta dini se vëllai Timoteu u lirua nga burgu. Nëse mbërrin së shpejti, unë do të vij te ju bashkë me të.
24 Përshëndetni të gjithë të parët tuaj dhe gjithë shenjtorët! Ju përshëndesin ata të Italisë.

13 Let brotherly love continue.
2 Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.
3 Remember them that are in bonds, as bound with them; and them which suffer adversity, as being yourselves also in the body.
4 Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.
5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.
6 So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.
7 Remember them which have the rule over you, who have spoken unto you the word of God: whose faith follow, considering the end of their conversation.
8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.
9 Be not carried about with divers and strange doctrines. For it is a good thing that the heart be established with grace; not with meats, which have not profited them that have been occupied therein.
10 We have an altar, whereof they have no right to eat which serve the tabernacle.
11 For the bodies of those beasts, whose blood is brought into the sanctuary by the high priest for sin, are burned without the camp.
12 Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate.
13 Let us go forth therefore unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach.
14 For here have we no continuing city, but we seek one to come.
15 By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.
16 But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.
17 Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you.
18 Pray for us: for we trust we have a good conscience, in all things willing to live honestly.
19 But I beseech you the rather to do this, that I may be restored to you the sooner.
20 Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant,
21 Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
22 And I beseech you, brethren, suffer the word of exhortation: for I have written a letter unto you in few words.
23 Know ye that our brother Timothy is set at liberty; with whom, if he come shortly, I will see you.
24 Salute all them that have the rule over you, and all the saints. They of Italy salute you.
25 Grace be with you all. Amen.

Concluding Exhortations
13 Keep on loving one another as brothers and sisters.(A) 2 Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers,(B) for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it.(C) 3 Continue to remember those in prison(D) as if you were together with them in prison, and those who are mistreated as if you yourselves were suffering.
4 Marriage should be honored by all,(E) and the marriage bed kept pure, for God will judge the adulterer and all the sexually immoral.(F) 5 Keep your lives free from the love of money(G) and be content with what you have,(H) because God has said,
6 So we say with confidence,
7 Remember your leaders,(K) who spoke the word of God(L) to you. Consider the outcome of their way of life and imitate(M) their faith. 8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.(N)
9 Do not be carried away by all kinds of strange teachings.(O) It is good for our hearts to be strengthened(P) by grace, not by eating ceremonial foods,(Q) which is of no benefit to those who do so.(R) 10 We have an altar from which those who minister at the tabernacle(S) have no right to eat.(T)
11 The high priest carries the blood of animals into the Most Holy Place as a sin offering,(U) but the bodies are burned outside the camp.(V) 12 And so Jesus also suffered outside the city gate(W) to make the people holy(X) through his own blood.(Y) 13 Let us, then, go to him(Z) outside the camp, bearing the disgrace he bore.(AA) 14 For here we do not have an enduring city,(AB) but we are looking for the city that is to come.(AC)
15 Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice(AD) of praise—the fruit of lips(AE) that openly profess his name. 16 And do not forget to do good and to share with others,(AF) for with such sacrifices(AG) God is pleased.
17 Have confidence in your leaders(AH) and submit to their authority, because they keep watch over you(AI) as those who must give an account. Do this so that their work will be a joy, not a burden, for that would be of no benefit to you.
18 Pray for us.(AJ) We are sure that we have a clear conscience(AK) and desire to live honorably in every way. 19 I particularly urge you to pray so that I may be restored to you soon.(AL)
Benediction and Final Greetings
20 Now may the God of peace,(AM) who through the blood of the eternal covenant(AN) brought back from the dead(AO) our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep,(AP) 21 equip you with everything good for doing his will,(AQ) and may he work in us(AR) what is pleasing to him,(AS) through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.(AT)
22 Brothers and sisters, I urge you to bear with my word of exhortation, for in fact I have written to you quite briefly.(AU)
23 I want you to know that our brother Timothy(AV) has been released. If he arrives soon, I will come with him to see you.
24 Greet all your leaders(AW) and all the Lord’s people. Those from Italy(AX) send you their greetings.
25 Grace be with you all.(AY)
