Chaimantaca ñucanchij chayana cashcaman chayangacama, alli shunguhuan callpashunchijlla. 2 Crinata callarichij, alli crijta ruraj Jesustaca, chaparashpa rishunchijlla. Paica huañushca q'uipaca, cushicuna cashcata yachashpami, paita asicujpipish mana pinganachishpa chacatashca huañurca. Chai q'uipaca, jatun tiyarinapi Taita Diospaj alli ladopimi tiyarirca. 3 Jesustaca juchayuj runacuna jatunta llaquichijpipish, chai llaquita apashcataca yuyarichigari. Ama shaicurishpa, ama, ña mana catisha nichijchu.
4 Juchata ama rurangapajca, macanacucuj shinami sinchita shayarishcanguichij. Chashna llaquicunata apashpapish, manaraj cancunapaj yahuarta jichashcanguichijchu. 5 Cancunataca Diosca, Paipaj huahuacunata shinataj cashna cunashcataca, ñamari cungarishcanguichij:
«Ñuca huahualla, Mandaj Dios imamanta
sinchita jarcajpica, ama mana uyasha nichu.
Pai rimajpipish, ama, ña mana catisha nichu.
6 Mandaj Diosca, Pai c'uyashcacunatami imata jarcana cajpica, llaquichin.
Paipaj huahuacuna cachun, tucui Pai chasquishcacunatami azotin» nishcami.
7 Ima llaqui shamujpipish, apaichijlla. Taita Diosmari cancunataca Paipaj huahuacuna cajpi, chashna llaquichicun. Huahuataj cajpimi, pi yayapish sinchi sinchita yachachishpa huiñachin. 8 Diospish Paipaj tucui huahuacunatami, chashnallataj sinchi sinchita yachachin. Cancunata mana chashna sinchi sinchita yachachijpica, mana Paipaj quiquin huahuacunatajchu canguichijman. Huainapaj huahuacuna shinallami canguichijman. 9 Ñucanchij aicha yaya mama sinchi sinchita yachachijpica, paicunataca caźushpa c'uyashpami causarcanchij. Espiritucunapaj Yayatacarin, chaita yallitamari caźuna canchij. Chashna cashpami, huiñaita causashun. 10 Ñucanchij yayacunaca, ashacamallami paicuna yuyashca shina alli canata ricushpa, sinchita yachachishpa huiñachirca. Dioscarin ñucanchij allipajllatajmi, Pai shina ima jucha illaj cachun sinchita yachachin. 11 Ima llaqui japishpapish, llaquichinapajlla shamushcata yuyashpami mana cushicunchij. Chai llaquita apashpa allita yachashca q'uipaca, Dios munashca shina sumajta causanatami yachanchij.
12 Chashna cajpica mushuj yuyaita japichij. Shaicushca maquicunata huichi chutaichij. Mana cuyuri tucuj cunguricunata cuyuchichij. 13 «Cancuna purinapaj alli ñancunata ruraichij.» Chashna alli ñanpi churajpimi, patojo shina cajcunapish ñanmanta mana urmangacuna. Ashtahuanpish alli tucungacunami. Dios rimashcata mana uyajcunaca chingaringami.
14 Tucuicunahuan sumajta causaichij. Tucui juchacunata saquishpa, shuj yuyai Diospajlla causaichij. Mana chashna causashpaca, Apunchij Jesustaca pipish mana ricungachu. 15 Alli yuyarichij, mana c'uyaipajcunatamari Taita Diosca c'uyashca. Chashna cajpipish ñataj maijancunaca Paipaj c'uyaita mana japishpa saquiringuichijman. Ima jayaj sapiman rijchaj yuyaicuna shungupi huiñajpi, shujtajcunatapish chaihuan mapayachinguichijman. 16 Ñataj cancunapurapica, maijan huainayaj tiyanman. Mana cashpaca Esaú shina, imapish Diospajlla cashcataca, yanga cashcata yuyanguichijman. Paica asha micunallapimi, punta churi cashpa, imalla japina cashcataca c'aturca. 17 Chai q'uipaca, bendiciachun mañajpipish, yayaca mana curcachu. Esaú chaimanta achcata huacashpa mañashpapish, mana imata rurai tucushcataca yachanguichijmi.
18 Cunan cancunaca maquihuan japiripaj, nina rupacuj, jatun amsa urcumanca mana c'uchuyarcanguichijchu. 19 Trompetapi tocashcatapish, Dios rimashcatapish mana uyana tucushcanguichijchu. Chaita uyajcunaca, ña mana uyai tucushpami: «Ama ashtahuan rimapaichu» nishpa rogarircacuna. 20 Diosca: «Ima animal cashpapish, chai urcuman chayajpica, rumihuan cashpapish, lanzahuan cashpapish huañuchishcami canga» nishpami mandarca. Chaitami mana uyanachircacuna. 21 Paicuna ricushcaca, chashna jatun mancharina cajpimi, Moisespish: «Manchaihuan chujchucunimari» nirca.
22 Ashtahuanpish cancunaca, Sion urcuman, causacuj Diospaj jahua pacha Jerusalén puebloman, huaranga huaranga angelcuna tiyacunmanmari chayarcanguichij. 23 Jahua pacha libropi shuticunata quillcashca, Diospaj punta huahuacuna tandanacushcamanmari chayarcanguichij. Tucuicuna imalla rurashcata Ricuchij Taita Diospajmantaj, cashcata rurajcunata ima jucha illajta Dios rurashca espiritucunapajmantajmi chayarcanguichij. 24 Mushujta rurasha nishpa, Dios ari nishcata Mañashpa Cuj Jesuspajmanpish, pai jichashca yahuarmanpishmi chayarcanguichij. Ñucanchijmanta rimaj Paipaj yahuarca, Abelpaj yahuartapish yallimari.
25 Riquichij, cancunata Rimajtaca, ama mana uyasha nichijchu. Cai pachapi Diosmanta Rimajta mana uyashun nijcunapish, llaquiman rinamantaca mana quishpirircacunachu. Ñucanchijcarin jahua pachamantataj Rimajta mana uyashpaca, ¿llaquiman rinamantaca maitataj quishpirishunri? 26 Chai punllacunapi Dios rimashpaca, pambapish chujchujtami rimarca. Cunancarin Diosca: «Shuj cutinhuan rimashpaca, mana cai pachallatachu chujchuchisha, ashtahuanpish jahua pachandijmi chujchuchisha» nishcamari. 27 Chashna: «Shuj cutinhuan chujchuchishami» nishpaca, Dios rurashca, chai cuyuchipajllacunata anchuchinatami nisha nicun. Chashna rurajpimi, mana cuyuchipajcunalla saquiringa.
28 Cunan ñucanchijca, mana pi cuyuchipajta Dios mandacuntamari japishcanchij. Chaimanta Taita Diostaca, pagui nishunchigari. Manchashpa, caźushpa pai munashca shina adorashunchigari. 29 «Ñucanchij Taita Diosca, rupachishpa tucuchij ninamari.»

The Call to Endurance
12 Therefore, since we also have such a large cloud of witnesses(A) surrounding us, let us lay aside every weight and the sin that so easily ensnares us. Let us run with endurance(B) the race that lies before us, 2 keeping our eyes on Jesus,[a] the source and perfecter[b] of our faith, who for the joy that lay before Him[c] endured a cross and despised the shame(C) and has sat down at the right hand of God’s throne.
Fatherly Discipline
3 For consider Him who endured such hostility from sinners against Himself, so that you won’t grow weary and lose heart.(D) 4 In struggling against sin, you have not yet resisted to the point of shedding your blood. 5 And you have forgotten the exhortation that addresses you as sons:
My son, do not take the Lord’s discipline lightly
or faint when you are reproved by Him,
6 for the Lord disciplines the one He loves
and punishes every son He receives.(E)[d]
7 Endure suffering as discipline: God is dealing with you as sons. For what son is there that a father does not discipline? 8 But if you are without discipline—which all[e] receive[f]—then you are illegitimate children and not sons.(F) 9 Furthermore, we had natural fathers discipline us, and we respected them. Shouldn’t we submit even more to the Father of spirits and live?(G) 10 For they disciplined us for a short time based on what seemed good to them, but He does it for our benefit, so that we can share His holiness.(H) 11 No discipline seems enjoyable at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it yields the fruit of peace(I) and righteousness to those who have been trained by it.(J)
12 Therefore strengthen your tired hands and weakened knees,(K) 13 and make straight paths for your feet, so that what is lame may not be dislocated[g] but healed instead.(L)
Warning against Rejecting God’s Grace
14 Pursue peace with everyone, and holiness(M)—without it no one will see the Lord.(N) 15 Make sure that no one falls short of the grace of God and that no root of bitterness springs up, causing trouble and by it, defiling many.(O) 16 And make sure that there isn’t any immoral or irreverent(P) person like Esau, who sold his birthright in exchange for one meal.(Q) 17 For you know that later, when he wanted to inherit the blessing, he was rejected because he didn’t find any opportunity for repentance, though he sought it with tears.(R)
18 For you have not come to what could be touched, to a blazing fire, to darkness, gloom, and storm, 19 to the blast of a trumpet, and the sound of words. (Those who heard it begged that not another word be spoken to them, 20 for they could not bear what was commanded: And if even an animal touches the mountain, it must be stoned!(S)[h] 21 The appearance was so terrifying that Moses said, I am terrified and trembling.(T)[i]) 22 Instead, you have come to Mount Zion, to the city of the living God (the heavenly Jerusalem), to myriads of angels in festive gathering,(U) 23 to the assembly of the firstborn whose names have been written[j] in heaven, to God who is the Judge of all, to the spirits of righteous people made perfect,(V) 24 to Jesus (mediator(W) of a new covenant(X)), and to the sprinkled blood, which says better things than the blood of Abel.(Y)
25 Make sure that you do not reject the One who speaks. For if they did not escape when they rejected Him who warned them on earth, even less will we if we turn away from Him who warns us from heaven.(Z) 26 His voice shook the earth at that time, but now He has promised, Yet once more I will shake not only the earth but also heaven.(AA)[k] 27 This expression, “Yet once more,” indicates the removal of what can be shaken(AB)—that is, created things—so that what is not shaken might remain. 28 Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us hold on to grace.[l] By it, we may serve God acceptably, with reverence and awe,(AC) 29 for our God is a consuming fire.(AD)
