8 Pero del Hijo dice:
Tu trono, oh Dios, es por los siglos de los siglos,
y cetro de equidad es el cetro de tu[a] reino(A).
9 Has amado la justicia y aborrecido la iniquidad;
por lo cual Dios, tu Dios, te ha ungido(B)
con oleo de alegría(C) más que a tus compañeros(D).
10 Y:
Tú, Señor, en el principio pusiste los cimientos de la tierra,
y los cielos son obra[b] de tus manos(E);

“Your throne, O God, will last for ever and ever;(A)
a scepter of justice will be the scepter of your kingdom.
9 You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness;
therefore God, your God, has set you above your companions(B)
by anointing you with the oil(C) of joy.”[a](D)
10 He also says,
“In the beginning, Lord, you laid the foundations of the earth,
and the heavens are the work of your hands.(E)
