Ang Pulong Sa Dios
Ang Pag-alagad nga Makahatag ug Kalipay sa Dios
13 Padayon kamo sa paghigugmaay isip mga managsoon diha kang Cristo. 2 Ayaw ninyo kalimti ang pag-abiabi sa mga dumuduong. May mga tawo kaniadto nga nagbuhat niana, ug wala sila masayod nga kadtong ilang mga bisita mga anghel diay. 3 Hunahunaa ninyo ang inyong mga isigka-tumutuo nga anaa sa prisohan, ug ang mga gipasipad-an, ug batia ninyo ang ilang kahimtang.
4 Ang kada usa kinahanglang maghatag ug bili sa kaminyoon. Busa dili gayod kamo manapaw tungod kay silotan sa Dios ang mga tawo nga nagapakighilawas gawas sa kaminyoon.
5 Likayi ninyo ang paghigugma sa kuwarta. Hinuon pagkontento kamo sa unsa lay anaa kaninyo, tungod kay nagaingon ang Dios, “Dili ko gayod kamo biyaan, ug dili ko gayod kamo pasagdan.”[a] 6 Busa magmaisog kita sa pag-ingon,
“Ang Ginoo mao ang akong magtatabang,
busa dili ako mahadlok. Unsa may mahimo sa tawo kanako?”[b]
7 Hunahunaa ninyo ang inyong mga tigdumala nga nagtudlo kaninyo sa pulong sa Dios. Palandonga ang ilang pagkinabuhi ug pagkamatay nga nagatuo sa Dios. Awata ninyo ang ilang pagtuo. 8 Si Jesu-Cristo dili gayod mausab: siya mao gihapon kaniadto, karon, ug sa walay kataposan. 9 Ayaw kamo pagpadala sa nagkalain-lain nga mga pagtulon-an nga lahi sa kamatuoran nga inyong nadawat. Mas maayo nga lig-onon nato ang atong pagtuo pinaagi sa tabang sa Dios, ug dili sa pagsunod sa mga tulumanon bahin sa mga pagkaon. Wala gayoy kaayohan nga makuha ang nagasunod niana nga mga tulumanon. 10 Kita nga mga tumutuo may halaran, ug ang mga Judio nga nagahalad diha sa ilang simbahan dili mahimo nga mokaon diha sa atong halaran. 11 Kay ang dugo sa mga mananap nga ihalad alang sa mga sala sa mga tawo gidala sa pangulong pari didto sa Labing Balaang Dapit, apan ang lawas niadto nga mga mananap gidala sa gawas sa lungsod ug didto gisunog. 12 Sama usab niini ang nahitabo kang Jesus tungod kay didto usab siya gipatay sa gawas sa lungsod, aron pinaagi sa iyang dugo mahinloan niya ang mga tawo sa ilang mga sala. 13 Busa adtoon nato si Jesus didto sa gawas sa lungsod ug makig-ambit kita sa iyang mga giantos nga kaulawan. 14 Kay wala kitay permanente nga lungsod dinhi sa kalibotan, kondili nagahulat kita sa permanente nga lungsod nga umaabot. 15 Busa maghalad kita kanunay sa mga pagdayeg ngadto sa Dios pinaagi kang Jesus. Kini mao ang mga halad nga mga pulong nga maggikan sa atong baba ug magpaila kon kinsa siya. 16 Ayaw kamo kalimot pagbuhat ug maayo, ug pagtinabangay kamo, kay mao kini ang mga halad nga makahatag ug kalipay sa Dios.
17 Tumana ninyo ang mga tumutuo nga nangulo kaninyo ug pagpasakop kamo kanila, tungod kay sila mao ang nagaatiman sa inyong espirituhanon nga kahimtang. Ug nasayod sila nga moabot ang adlaw nga manubag sila sa Dios bahin sa ilang pag-atiman kaninyo. Kon tumanon ninyo sila, mag-alagad sila nga may kalipay, apan kon dili, masubo sila ug dili kini makahatag ug kaayohan kaninyo.
18 Iampo ninyo kami kanunay, kay nasiguro namo nga limpyo ang among konsensya tungod kay naningkamot kami kanunay sa pagbuhat ug maayo. 19 Labi na gayod nga iampo ninyo nga pabalikon ako sa Dios diha kaninyo sa labing madali.
Pag-ampo
20 Ug nagaampo usab ako sa Dios alang kaninyo, sa Dios nga nagahatag ug kalinaw. Siya ang nagbanhaw sa atong Ginoong Jesus, nga mao ang Makagagahom nga Magbalantay kanato ingon nga iyang mga karnero. Kay pinaagi sa iyang dugo gipalig-on niya ang walay kataposan nga kasabotan. 21 Hinaut nga ihatag sa Dios kaninyo ang tanan ninyo nga mga kinahanglanon aron mahimo ninyo ang iyang kabubut-on. Ug hinaut nga pinaagi kang Jesu-Cristo buhaton niya kanato ang iyang gusto. Dayegon nato siya sa walay kataposan. Amen.
Kataposan nga mga Tugon
22 Mga igsoon, nanghangyo ako nga paminawon ninyo pag-ayo ang akong mga gitambag, kay hamubo ra man kining akong sulat kaninyo. 23 Gusto ko nga masayran ninyo nga ang atong igsoon nga si Timoteo gipagawas na sa prisohan. Kon moabot dayon siya, ubanon ko siya sa akong pag-anha diha kaninyo.
24 Ipangumusta na lang ako sa inyong mga tigdumala diha ug sa tanang mga katawhan sa Dios. Nangumusta usab kaninyo ang atong mga igsoon nga taga-Italia.
25 Hinaut nga panalanginan kamong tanan sa Dios.

13 Let brotherly love continue.
2 Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.
3 Remember them that are in bonds, as bound with them; and them which suffer adversity, as being yourselves also in the body.
4 Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.
5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.
6 So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.
7 Remember them which have the rule over you, who have spoken unto you the word of God: whose faith follow, considering the end of their conversation.
8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.
9 Be not carried about with divers and strange doctrines. For it is a good thing that the heart be established with grace; not with meats, which have not profited them that have been occupied therein.
10 We have an altar, whereof they have no right to eat which serve the tabernacle.
11 For the bodies of those beasts, whose blood is brought into the sanctuary by the high priest for sin, are burned without the camp.
12 Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate.
13 Let us go forth therefore unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach.
14 For here have we no continuing city, but we seek one to come.
15 By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.
16 But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.
17 Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you.
18 Pray for us: for we trust we have a good conscience, in all things willing to live honestly.
19 But I beseech you the rather to do this, that I may be restored to you the sooner.
20 Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant,
21 Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
22 And I beseech you, brethren, suffer the word of exhortation: for I have written a letter unto you in few words.
23 Know ye that our brother Timothy is set at liberty; with whom, if he come shortly, I will see you.
24 Salute all them that have the rule over you, and all the saints. They of Italy salute you.
25 Grace be with you all. Amen.

4 (E)Marriage is honorable among all, and the bed undefiled; (F)but fornicators and adulterers God will judge.
5 Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, (G)“I will never leave you nor forsake you.” 6 So we may boldly say:

7 Remember those who [a]rule over you, who have spoken the word of God to you, whose faith follow, considering the outcome of their conduct. 8 Jesus Christ is (I)the same yesterday, today, and forever. 9 Do not be carried [b]about with various and strange doctrines. For it is good that the heart be established by grace, not with foods which have not profited those who have been occupied with them.
10 We have an altar from which those who serve the tabernacle have no right to eat. 11 For the bodies of those animals, whose blood is brought into the sanctuary by the high priest for sin, are burned outside the camp. 12 Therefore Jesus also, that He might [c]sanctify the people with His own blood, suffered outside the gate. 13 Therefore let us go forth to Him, outside the camp, bearing (J)His reproach. 14 For here we have no continuing city, but we seek the one to come. 15 (K)Therefore by Him let us continually offer (L)the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, (M)the fruit of our lips, [d]giving thanks to His name. 16 (N)But do not forget to do good and to share, for (O)with such sacrifices God is well pleased.

20 Now may (T)the God of peace (U)who brought up our Lord Jesus from the dead, (V)that great Shepherd of the sheep, (W)through the blood of the everlasting covenant, 21 make you [f]complete in every good work to do His will, (X)working in [g]you what is well pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.
22 And I appeal to you, brethren, bear with the word of exhortation, for I have written to you in few words. 23 Know that our brother Timothy has been set free, with whom I shall see you if he comes shortly.
24 Greet all those who [h]rule over you, and all the saints. Those from Italy greet you.
25 Grace be with you all. Amen.

Förmaningar
13 (A) Håll syskonkärleken levande. 2 (B) Glöm inte att visa gästfrihet, för genom gästfrihet har några fått änglar till gäster[a] utan att veta om det. 3 (C) Tänk på dem som sitter i fängelse som om ni var deras medfångar, och på dem som blir misshandlade som om det gällde er egen kropp.
4 (D) Äktenskapet ska hållas i ära hos alla[b] och den äkta sängen bevaras obefläckad, för Gud ska döma dem som är sexuellt omoraliska och äktenskapsbrytare. 5 (E) Lev inte för pengar, utan nöj er med vad ni har. Gud har själv sagt: Jag ska aldrig lämna dig eller överge dig.[c] 6 Därför kan vi frimodigt säga:
Herren är min hjälpare,
jag ska inte vara rädd.
Vad kan en människa göra mig?[d]
7 (F) Tänk på era ledare som har förkunnat Guds ord för er. Se vad deras liv har lett fram till och ta efter deras tro. 8 (G) Jesus Kristus är densamme i går och i dag och i evighet.
9 (H) Låt er inte föras bort av alla slags främmande läror. Det är gott att bli styrkt i sitt hjärta genom nåd och inte genom regler om mat[e] som inte har hjälpt dem som har sysslat med sådant. 10 (I) Vi har ett altare[f] från vilket tabernaklets tjänare[g] inte har rätt att äta. 11 (J) Offerdjurens blod bärs in i det allra heligaste av översteprästen som syndoffer, men kropparna bränns upp utanför lägret. 12 (K) Därför har också Jesus lidit utanför stadsporten, för att helga folket med sitt eget blod.
13 (L) Låt oss därför gå ut till honom utanför lägret och bära hans vanära. 14 (M) Här har vi ingen stad som består, men vi söker den stad som ska komma. 15 (N) Låt oss därför ständigt genom honom frambära lovets offer till Gud, en frukt från läppar som prisar[h] hans namn. 16 (O) Och glöm inte att göra gott och dela med er, för sådana offer behagar Gud.
