²⁸ Therefore, receiving a Kingdom that can’t be shaken, let’s have grace, through which we serve God acceptably, with reverence and awe,

¹¹ We were also assigned an inheritance in him, having been foreordained according to the purpose of him who does all things after the counsel of his will, ¹² to the end that we should be to the praise of his glory, we who had before hoped in Christ.

²² But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith,^{[a] 23} gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

² Count it all joy, my brothers,^[a] when you fall into various temptations, ³ knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. ⁴ Let endurance have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.
