² a Minister of ^(A)the ^[a]sanctuary and of ^(B)the true tabernacle which the Lord erected, and not man.

Greatness of Christ’s Sacrifice

²³ Therefore it was necessary that ^(A)the copies of the things in the heavens should be ^[a]purified with these, but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these. ²⁴ For ^(B)Christ has not entered the holy places made with hands, which are ^[b]copies of ^(C)the true, but into heaven itself, now ^(D)to appear in the presence of God for us;

Assurance of the Resurrection

5 For we know that if ^(A)our earthly ^[a]house, this tent, is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house ^(B)not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.

Moses Meets with the Lord

⁷ Moses took his tent and pitched it outside the camp, far from the camp, and ^(A)called it the tabernacle of meeting. And it came to pass that everyone who ^(B)sought the Lord went out to the tabernacle of meeting which was outside the camp.

¹⁰ for he waited for ^(A)the city which has foundations, ^(B)whose builder and maker is God.

²¹ and having a High Priest over the house of God,

⁸ the Holy Spirit indicating this, that ^(A)the way into the Holiest of All was not yet made manifest while the first tabernacle was still standing. ⁹ It was symbolic for the present time in which both gifts and sacrifices are offered ^(B)which cannot make him who performed the service perfect in regard to the conscience— ¹⁰ concerned only with ^(C)foods and drinks, ^(D)various ^[a]washings, ^(E)and fleshly ordinances imposed until the time of reformation.

The Heavenly Sanctuary

¹¹ But Christ came as High Priest of ^(F)the good things ^[b]to come, with the greater and more perfect tabernacle not made with hands, that is, not of this creation. ¹² Not ^(G)with the blood of goats and calves, but ^(H)with His own blood He entered the Most Holy Place ^(I)once for all, ^(J)having obtained eternal redemption.

Not Legalism but Christ

¹¹ In Him you were also ^(A)circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, by ^(B)putting off the body ^[a]of the sins of the flesh, by the circumcision of Christ,
