³ And this ^[a]we will do if God permits.

⁷ For I do not wish to see you now on the way; but I hope to stay a while with you, ^(A)if the Lord permits.

²¹ but took leave of them, saying, ^(A)“I^[a] must by all means keep this coming feast in Jerusalem; but I will return again to you, ^(B)God willing.” And he sailed from Ephesus.

^19 (A)But I will come to you shortly, ^(B)if the Lord wills, and I will know, not the word of those who are puffed up, but the power.

¹⁵ Instead you ought to say, ^(A)“If the Lord wills, we shall live and do this or that.”

^32 (A)that I may come to you with joy ^(B)by the will of God, and may ^(C)be refreshed together with you.
